There’s no creativity. Always shoving notes where there would be a more important interval. I like her head voice a lot when it’s soft and her chest voice when she isn’t screaming of forcing her growl.

I had to come back and listen to this again. It never gets old. To people criticizing Jordan or John - they both gave an amazing performance! Jordan hits those notes perfectly and all while trying her best not to cry. That was double hard for both of them. The fact of the matter is Whitney would have been proud of both of them and of all who honored her. Tears your heart out to see Bobbi Kristina in tears and looking to the heavens, but they are together now no matter how tragic their deaths were.

Guys, how can you criticize them it's a "Whitney Houston Tribute" they are not some teenage girls who think just because their mam says that they can sing that they can sing Whitney. They just glorified Whitney's work. They just PAID A TRIBUTE to a LEGEND and they did it amazing!!
No doubt it was well intended and both sang from their hearts but you gotta admit there was a lot of hit and miss in both their performances when it comes to sustaining notes without having to cheat, beauty of tone, pitch (!!) and especially in Jordin's case commanding an audience by being in full control of all of the above. It just reminds you once again just how unparalleled Whitney was regardless of anyone's personal taste and musical preferences. There really is a lack of the craft of singing in today's popular music world and I just so would love to see Mrs. Cissy Houston to step in the ring and pass on what she had once taught her daughter. And I so wish she would not have to now grieve both the loss of a daughter and a granddaughter. My heart goes out to everyone who loved them. Whitney will forever be a part of me and the sound of her heart transmitted through her breathtaking talent shall echoe throgh the corridors of my soul eternally. So grateful, just so grateful...
