Happiness and Peace of mind comes after you have achieved your Dream goals for large percentage of population, like "Worldly matters" that consists of Good Marriage, Good Mgmt of Finance & Wealth, great car, comfortable life and prosperous children, this = "Success" as per 70% of population in the World. Its like an ant following the other ant and then its a big system, but its NOT true for few people including me. I believe definition of "Happiness and peace of mind" must differ from person to person but unfortunately its not like that with 70%s, so in the world we live in today; this Definition of SUCCESS above is good and believable for lower to upper middle class families. Only when few people start to understand Life in a deeper sense, come to realise that there has to be no definition about anything, no need for perfection, the word "Perfection" is a Scam word invented by Humans.
