Ah, Lord Inquisitor Hector Rex. He relieves Kagori of command, not because of any wrongdoing on his part; in fact, he actually praised Kagori for his achievements on Vraks. He simply told him that the scale of this war was moving beyond his pay grade.

War is taking risks.
It's just that the risk is greater in the short term but a longer battle of attrition would guarantee rather than risk more casualties. In 40k, a plan such as 'not charging a 12ft tall tyranid with a chainsword' or 'sending hundreds of men and women to charge a trench against futuristic weapons and tactics', it's a pretty good idea to be cautious.
@@inwit594to be honest I would agree with you if the plan was not just replacing a foot-charge with a teleport-charge right into the melee. If you want to avoid attrition, you usually go for the hearth and mind of your ennemy opponent : striking its C2, destroying a vital logistic artery, destroying its reserve. You destabilize, desorganise, so the whole becomes fractured parts. That's why you have elite forces or specialized troops.
War *is* risks. You make it so that they are higher for your opponent ;) not the other way around.

Shovels man, favourite tool of Emperor's finest. It can serve as a mini gym when digginig trenches, it is your best buddy when in doubt, and it brings happines on your face when your lucius pattern gun is drained and you are a 30yards from heretic.
It is a must have in any loyalist house and can also serve as an education tool when your kid starts to behave like a beastman.
Red Scorpions pulling up to be the most useful unit with less troops than the Deathkorps loses in half an hour.

The death korps are normal humans that were able to breach and go through three regular lines of defense, they also created the breach on the curtain wall of the citadel that the Marines used to attack and reinforced them when they were going to be overrun.
The hardest part about enjoying the hell out of this series is understanding how much work must go into each episode.... and still having to resist the urge to try and rush you so I can watch the next one! 😅😂

What I like about the siege of Vraks is how competent the soldiers of the Cardinal were.
Sure, but I'd given more credit to the previous leadership of the imperial failing so hard and it leading to massive chaos support. Those CSM and titans saved what would've been a defeat.
Fun fact ; Current Chapter Master Carab Culln was grievously wounded and interred within the shell of a Dreadnought, and now the Captains Casan Sabius and Sirae Karagon have become the de facto leaders of the Chapter 🦂 . Their Battle Cry is “ Strength in Purity “.

Good day everybody! I have a question for you: I'm a little confused about the death korps you see. Where do kriegers get their names from? Kriegsmen when born don't get names, they just get numbers, right? However there are officers like leutenant Tyborg mentioned in the lore. Now if kriegsmen can only become officers by surviving long enough, it must mean that Tyborg was once an ordinary soldier with no name, just a number. Where did he get his name from? Is there any book or piece of lore that mentions this? Does anybody know? Googling it does not give clarification at all.
Good question. I dont know the answer. It is assumed they receive names once they've lived long enough and become distinguished.
Might be something never dealt with. I suppose a fitting explanation might be they have a list of ancient Krieg names and they give them to newly minted officers, either at random or on a whim. This could be because officers would have to deal with other Imperials and names can be helpful for communication.
It is possible when a person is born on krieg they get given a name and an identification number. The ID number is most likely used the most. Perhaps also they need to earn the right to use their name and that's why high ranking officers have them.

More and More Blood Sacrifices without the Troops on the Ground being any the Wiser as Chaos potentially creating another Eye of Terror right next door! As the Khornate Heretics say, "Blood for the Blood God, Skulls for the Skull Throne." However, I would like to simply reply with "BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOOM! WE GONNA DOUBLE BOOM, LET'S SPEND THIS WAR TOGETHER, AS ARTILLERY BOOMS."
