- During Adam Rupp’s solo performance at the Van Wert, Ohio, show, apparently the speakers couldn’t handle his amazingness, haha. I captured the chaos, hilarity and the story time with Tim that ensued afterwards until the sound department could get it fixed.

We were there last night! This was amazing. Loved Tim's comment, "It's usually me who breaks the sound system!"

According to a sound guy friend of mine it's not the actual speaker as much as it's the electrical breakers can't handle the load and trip to save said speakers and sound system. That's impressive power.

i saw them first time on their europe tour in sweden in september... A piece of the stage broke, no one saw it but a huge plank just fell off the side and scared the life out of me and a few others. Nothing is safe when Home Free is in town

I wish we'd heard what Adam was doing when he broke the system. I imagine everyone who hosts these guys expect the bass bombs Tim drops and tunes their speakers to guard against that. Adam's voice is pretty high. What in the world did Adam do???
When he drops the bass in his beatboxing solo it shakes the room. Not surprised if the speakers give up!

Ok, so here's the most important question about all of this. What the heck did Adam do to break the speakers cuz I want to hear that!
Must have been his beatboxing solo. It's an awesome experience to hear it live.
It was his beatbox solo towards the end when he “drops the base”. The sound system had to be reset, which takes a few minutes. It was a great concert - our third one, second Christmas concert.

I was there, and I honestly don't think the "average" person in the audience realized what happened!! The one yelling in the back at the beginning - it's me!! LOL!!
I'm torn...as a fan who'd planned on attending the Van Wert concert and couldn't because I'm unemployed and couldn't afford a ticket plus gas money plus an overnight stay, I'm so glad you posted this. But I'm also a Browns' fan...usually (I won't watch when DeShawn Watson is playing)...so Tim ripping on the Browns' makes me sad. I wonder if the fans at the bar being so awful to the boys are the reason why HF never comes to Cleveland anymore. Instead of having only a 20 minute drive to see my guys, I have to drive an hour to Akron or three hours to Columbus or, in the case of my first concert, go see my sister in Greensboro, NC and make HER drive us 90 minutes to Charlotte for a concert.
Tim rips on any team whose state he's visiting. He crapped all over the Eagles and the Phillies when he came to Pennsylvania. He loves getting the crowd all riled up, haha. Don't take it personally. He's actually a big softie who just loves to instigate when he can, and he's good at it, lol.
@@Shanrocks No worries--I don't take it personally. Back when they had free autograph lines after the show, I once went through it wearing my Browns T-shirt and yep, Tim said something smart-alecky about it . I'm actually a fan of all the Cleveland sports teams...with the exception of the Cavs in 2016, none of them ever win it all, and frequently they're terrible, so most of us in Cleveland have learned to grin and bear it, all while shouting "Next year!" 😉
I'll bet the Browns lost
