I have recently culled my collection from 23 to 13 and I love and use every piece. I assessed my collection to see what I actually needed. I plan to get a Chanel tote and camera bag, and a LV backpack one each year and then my collection would be complete.
I got my reissue last Friday and I love the size. I wore it to dinner and literally didn't downsize my essentials and still there was plenty of room for more. This has always been holy grail bag and feel like I have a concise collection of which will be used. I feel like I'm at handbag peace for now.
I have and love the LYXBAG in the same colour and have the marmont in the small in the velvet. Judith is on my list.
I think you did the right thing by selling the two bags you didn't love or use often. The reissue is the perfect bag if you ask me!
I too sold both my medium and jumbo classic flaps for the exact same reasons you are mentioning! I have since bought the Chanel 19 flap and I love this bag! It is like a softer version of my boy bag and it can be worn so many ways!
I'm all for downsizing. The Reissue is gorgeous. Please do an updated handbag collection.

I just bought my medium large in caviar this past June and regretted it about 2 months later when I saw the reissue. Itâs just too fancy for me and I canât wear it crossbody. I canât fit much in it either. I should have gotten it in silver hardware rather than gold. So now the price increased and I want to sell it but these online companies want to give me $2500 less than a I paid for it which is ridiculous. I only wore it once, itâs only 6 months old and I have everything it came with. Smh. Not sure what to do now.
Yes I hear what your saying. I tried to sell my classic med flap to fashion file. They only wanted to give me 3000. No way.
Iâve sold a lot of luxury bags including Chanel on eBay. Resellers always offer much less than when you sell it yourself and If you videotape the packaging process and ship with insurance and signature, then youâre covered. I would hold on to the bag and wait for another increase and sell it yourself. eBay will only take 13% whereas other sites take 20% or more. Good luck to you!

I love the reissue Anna, in that exact combo. Itâs my fav and the one I plan to buy next. âșïž I also feel the same about the classic. Itâs a beautiful bag, but I feel like the reissue is more me and I wouldnât get as much wear out of the classic CC M/L flap.
I do have a Chanel rectangular mjni that I adore and a chevron black medium that I use pretty much daily. Both are great for different reasons. I wear my trendy WOC when I need a dressier look. Also great because it double functions as a clutch. So glad you didnât loose money reselling them and were able to put it into real estate! Congrats!

I think you made the right decision. We are the same, lately, I'm quite over the CC logo, and loving more my Reissue Small 225 (Chevron, So Black) and my Reissue Mini in black quilt. I still have my M/L but just collecting dusts...maybe I'm departing with it too. Congrats on your real estate investments :-)
CC Loves CC I'm the same, I wanted the classic flap since I was a teenager. I started to save for the classic flap and then really looked at it and saw that it is not really my style, I would likely use it very rarely so it was just not worth it. Then I saw the reissue and it was love. I had to have it because it is my style, I would and could wear it all day everyday. Oh and the ruthenium is everything I need in hardware. I bought my reissue 226 and I am so satisfied and content. The classic flap would have been a terrible purchase for me.

I just did the same thing!!! Still not 100% sure if it was the right decision but alas I do still love the reissue and it cost me a lot less$$$
You made the right decision. Classic flap is overrated. Itâs beautiful, but cost per wear is important....unless you are buying the bag to be just a decorative piece. I have two reissues and love both of them and use them frequently. It is such a chic bag for a sophisticated woman!

Which site did you use to sell your CF? Iâm considering selling it too but find the commissions are to high.
eBay is the best place to sell. People feel itâs risky but itâs not when you take precautions and ship with insurance and signature.
