  • While Carhartt builds a wide range of rugged outerwear, they are probably most well known for their active jackets. You know the style - brown canvas duck material, hood, ribbed cuffs and waistband, that iconic square “C” patch. Seems simple enough, but there are a number of different active jacket styles to choose from that provide different features depending on your personal preference and the temperatures you’ll be working in.

I thought the J140 would be in the warmest category. Also the full swing Armstrong active does not have rain defender.

I like to buy American when I can but my sandstone ridge car hart coat is made In Mexico and there’s not a damn thing wrong with it ,I’ve been in sub zero weather more than a few time in that bad boy and never did a Ever get cold or when I would be out side for hours and hour in the 10s and it even protected me me I fell in a briar bush when sledding (with my car hart overalls on as well when I fell )and I not only came out unscathed but so did my coat , so yea their not bad

American workers and customers vs a greedy company that relocates to make more profits by having a lower payroll and prices which however remain in most cases the same. Use your brain for once, Vi Mos.
