    I show you the differences between the Explore 3 and the older Explore Air and compare the speeds. I even compare the Explore 3 to the Cricut Maker.

You may want to consider the Maker 3, because you have the Explore Air 2, but only if you think to yourself at times that you want those addtional options.

I'm just not there yet, but I do love the new machines. Love the less shiny look, no dial and no, we don't need the cartridge slot anymore since they did away with physical cartridges. I did have one question though, did you have your original Maker on fast mode when you did the comparison? I know the new machines are super fast, but was wondering about the fast mode being on. Enjoy! Hugs, Brenda

      Rotary Blade, Knife Blade, Scoring Wheels (Single & Double), Engraving Tool, Debossing Tool, Wavy Blade, Perforation Blade. If you think you would use these... I would get the Maker. If not... I would get the Explorer. Most people don't use the Maker to is full advantage.

    I have the explore air 2 and I love it. I really want to upgrade my machine. I don’t know if want the explore 3 or the maker 3. But I really like the mint green and my air 2 is mint green. I’m kinda scared I won’t use all the tools on the maker. The only tool I like with the maker is the engraving and cutting wood. My explore is my first cricut machine. So I just someone opinion. I don’t know if I should get the original maker or just get the new maker. But I want to see if cricut would come out with more colors for the maker 3. Because I really like my mint green. I know you can do so much more with the maker then the explore. My explore was my beginning machine.

    • @LittleBitofCalmCrazy
      @LittleBitofCalmCrazy  Před 2 lety

      If you think you would use any of the features on the Maker... I think it is worth it. The more you play with it... the more you will try more things. As for the orginal verse the 3. I tend to lean towards the 3 and that is because it allows you to use smart materials if you want. You don't have to... but at least the option is always there. 💕

      I'm not a fan of my Maker. I don't use it much and the rubber rollers are sliding off track and throws the calibration off. I also don't like when I'm cutting Velum I can't see if bits (like stars) have wedged themselves in the blade and it will ruin the whole cut. That's why I'm researching the other Cricut machines that have the blade in front.

    DON'T BUY IT. I bought it and regret it (already having the maker.) I got excited about the long cutting forgetting that cricut vinyl is trash. I hate cricut vinyl and well as yall know, you can only use smart vinyl 🙄 I never buy cricut vinyl so thinking about it, it was useless for me. I'm annoyed that I paid for the cricut maker 3. So trying to save yall from making the same mistake.

      Thanks! I was debating on just getting a maker or maker 3. I went with maker

      I hate mine with a passion. You can only use cricut smart materials, and they’re basic and ugly. I wasted so much money on this product.
