Christmas Pastel Cookies - Like Grandma Used to Make
This is a recipe I found in my wife’s Grandma recipe box.
First off I’ve added a Wooden Spoon-O-Meter for a 5 wooden spoon scale. 1 spoon, the recipe is not all that great, 5 spoons, pretty amazing recipe. Let me know if you like it or would like a change to it.
The recipe is pretty easy. I used Cherry Jello, since the recipe didn’t specify a flavor. I believe I accidently cooked the cookies a minute longer than it should have. It didn’t make em bricks, just more dense I guess.
They had a basic cherry flavored sugar cookie taste. I think some sort of royal icing for decoration. But we all know my frosting capabilities. I think that would a no wooden spoon on the scale lol.
We did eat them though.

My wife also presented me with her Grandma’s / Grandma’s box collection of handwritten recipes, a lot of them without titles. So, making many of these cooking videos will be a surprise even to me.
I follow the recipes exactly with no substitutions on ingredients. Grandmother recipes are the ones you can always relate to. You can eat something and you might say “Like Grandma Used to Make”.
