I was just diagnosed with Crohn's recently after a lifetime of stomach and intestinal issues. I ignored it for a long time until I couldn't anymore because blood started becoming a common occurrence in my vomit and stool. My biggest issue is people having straight up no empathy whatsoever or acting like it "cant be that bad" and acting like I need to just suck it up. I've been having so many flare ups lately because of stress and anxiety and a stomach virus going around and I've had to miss alot of work. I know my co-workers are getting pissed off at me and I guess I can't blame them and I live in fear they'll just get fed up and fire me. I'm 30 years old and I feel like I'm 60 with AP the meds I'm on and I spend nearly every day laying in bed because I'm just so wiped out. More than anything I just wish everyone would stop judging me for an illness I would give anything to not have.

Incredibly helpful. I've Hemiplegic Migraine disease. I'm working on becoming an author/illustrator full-time. It's less predictable, but knowing more people working around illness is encouraging.

Dealing with Lyme Disease since January 2020. Can definitely relate with the symptoms of tiredness, decreased cognitive function. Art is a way for me to relax.

Thanks Chantal- it’s helpful to know many people are in the same boat. I guess we all have our struggles one way or another. Sorry to hear about the Fibromyalgia- that’s pretty horrid. Hope you have a ‘well’ day today.

I wonder if this is what I have… for over a year and half I’ve been sick with a stomach issue. I’ve took a breathe test to check the gases in my stomach… the methane was high so they put me on two types of antibiotics but soon after I stopped them, the pain sick feelings came back. Then they put me back on the two antibiotics again… finished them and now it’s back again but it seems so much worse.😢 fatigue is bad and feeling completely unwell. Anything I eat makes me worse feeling. For three days now I’ve been fighting diarrhea which is different for me…. I’m at the ends rope here… yrs have wore me down
I hate that you have to deal with this but knowing someone else out there can relate seems to be comforting. Prayers for you 😢😢😢how did they diagnose your disease?

Oh it's miserable isn't it. Why don't you go back to your doctor/s and ask if it could be one of the inflammatory bowel diseases. Mine came on when I was pregnant with my first son, and it was like having food poisoning, just relentless diarrhoea and pain. Turns out hormonal changes can affect this autoimmune disease, that's why I'd never had it before being pregnant. I do hope you manage to find out what your problem is.

Thank you for commenting. I e had so many labs and TSH tests all seems to be good. I’ve had upper and lower GI’s done as well. But this is kicking my butt. I’m 60 now and can even get enough energy to go get groceries. Brain fog and fatigue gets the best of me. Thank you for sharing this with us. Stay well. I do enjoy your videos.
