Great video! I've hit it twice, second time was a proper fitting. Definitely take a look at the two Ping Tour shafts (I ended up in the Black which was insanely tight for dispersion for me) and the HZRDOUS RDX as well. Cannot wait for it to get delivered hopefully next week! Now I just need better weather so I can get it outside.
I upgraded from a Ping G430 Max 9 degree to the G430 Max 10K, also in 9 degree. Kept the same shaft, which is a Kai'li 60g stiff flex. The one thing I have been able to do with the G430 Max 10K is I am able to turn down the loft from 9 degrees to 7.5 degrees, without having bigger dispersion. My dispersion stayed identical, but was able to gain some yardage from the reduced loft. Very happy so far with the purchase, and I may also experiment with the weight at the back of the head, I may try the 25g weight from a regular G430 Max and see what that does, since the weight on the G430 Max 10K is 28g.

How do you like the Ka'li white driver shaft? I was fit into same shaft for Stealth 2 and it's been great for me, so far. Figured you would be in x-flex but its all about timing and release anyway

I hit it straight. Straight left, straight right, straight into the trees.
Straight to Brendas
Take one of your old drivers. Cut 3 inches off the butt. Put on a jumbo max grip. If you have smaller hands. Don't go full jumbo. The add the appropriate amount of lead tape back and low. And take only it to the range and hit a couple of buckets. You will figure out how to hit it straight. And much more in the center

I was spraying the driver.
I told myself to swing at 70%
I crushed the next two drives.
My brother asked what did I change. I said I was swinging 70%. The two guys said "ya right 70%"
In reality? My swing probably didn't look different. But it sure felt different

This club is amazing. Hit it last week and pre-ordered it. Finally, a club that does exactly what they say it will do!
My go to driver is still a G400...interesting I still get more club head speed out of the smaller head then the newer drivers..with stock Alta CB stiff shaft it weighs 328 grams...I bought a G430LST with the Tour Chrome 2.0 and that club weighs in at a whopping 354 grams...but of course both heads are around a 440 cc size...I hit my driver really high so opted for the Low Spin Low launch head of the LST...Im 72 and still generate around 105 mph club speed and interesting enough even though the LST is 26 grams heavier ( of course partly because of the shaft) I still get the same club head speed...nobody told me back in the day that the G400 was heavier and so go figure I have hit it faster and straighter then any club Ive ever owned...I know guys that have bought the 10K and one hits it faster and the other slower but both love the results...Im going to give it a try against my other G drivers...love your humor would be a blast to golf with you...I break the fun meter alot on the course...keep up the great reviews and humor...Jimmy T
Great video😃I gamed the G410 for some time and had a great experience. My buddy talked me into buying the Stealth ( he gets 1/2 off). So I traded in my G410 ( bad move). The Stealth did not work for me at all. Lost distance and had horrendous dispersion. I got the G430 Max as a birthday gift from my
wife! ( I love that woman
😊). When the 10K came out I was able to exchange my G430 for the G430 Max 10k! I'm back to crushing it long and keeping in play!! The greater moi gives us the confidence to swing away! I'm 61 y.o. With a 102 swing speed. I hitting this club 260+ total AND it's in play! Great club. Thanks for your videos. You are informative and entertaining😂

I paid the 50 dollar difference. Golfmart gives a 90 day exchange. If you exchange for something more expensive you just pay the difference.
So you just had to pay $50 for the new Max cuz you have to 430?? I would love to do the same. And did you do this by going to store or via the internet?
At the store. Store gives 90 day exchange policy. You can get store credit and apply to the next purchase. In my case I returned my 430 max for 550 and spent an additional 50 to get the 10K

What’s it like against a g400 max since that was also 10k moi?

I did the cardinal sin and bought mine with a standard shaft and 10.5.. I’ve spent literally thousands on club fittings, between, Titliest, Ping and Taylormade.. unless your swing is top drawer consistent, give it a miss.. and just go for it
To be honest, I'm a bit pissed off that they brought this out only a few months after I bought the G430max.

The 430 max is also 10k moi if you have the weight in the fade position. And the original 430 max is slightly longer. If the fade position isn’t for you yeah I’d be annoyed at the release too
@gagaming7192 more just the fact that I would've liked to have had the chance to hit this as well, might have still got the G430max but to not have the opportunity is pretty annoying.

The 425 is much better. The sound and feel is much more satisfying. Where I have mine set has really straightened out my slice. I find this adjustable driver to be more functional than all the others and I’ve tried a few.
Purely personal preference 👍 I didn’t prefer the 425 at all

I bought a g400 but I didn't know what I was doing and bought a 12 degree, I was hitting balloons but it sure was straight, I sold it and got a g series more to my specs but the 400 was a bit straighter not enough to chance it though since I haven't tried it in a lower loft
3000+ spin with a draw shape is insane. Please try this head with the Ping Tour 2.0 Black 65X. It is magic.
Kai’li plays softer than HZRDUS Black (same weight); kick point is a bit different.
I know you usually get 175/180+ ball speed, and I would love to see the numbers with a shaft that fits your speed.

@@alexetchesgolf Precisely, because heavier rear weight will increase MOI, as well as spin. Heavier shafts cut down on spin no?
Based on your other videos, a Kai’li White 60S seems very light for you.
@jackrichardson1079 all depends on swing timing with the shaft. Strike is everything. With a whippy senior flex if I was striking it high that would even low spin. Just depends in my hands like everyone else
Never liked the Kaili shafts. Just don't feel right. Worst of the bunch from MRC, hence why maybe they always end up as stock shafts in most brands lineup. The Ping shafts (black & chrome) are much better. My opinion.

I get a lot of good feedback from the new gen PING tour shafts. I play a 6.5 HZRDUS Blue//G400, but I used to play the Gen 1 PING Tour 65X.
I fit several people into the new Tour 2.0 Black shaft, and the response has been great. Looking to make the switch here soon. (Tax Return Season, Baby!!)

Alex would love to see you compare this driver with the 430 max, weight in fade position supposedly makes the 430 max 10k moi and it’s longer so for me, someone with a left miss would love a review showing if I should save dollars and get the original max model. Thanks for the content

@@vikingsfan9049 the point is when you’re getting fitted those guys are usually making a percentage of sales. I’m in the sales business I respect the hustle but the 10k cost more. I want it. But if a trusted content creator helps me avoid paying more it’d be nice lol

Swapped put my 10.5 g430 max for a 9 degree max turned it down and now hitting fades around 2200-2500rpm 14 launch 290 carry love it

It’s a great club. Some players are playing longer shafts with this head to get longer carry without sacrificing much in the forgiveness. Might be something for you to give a shot.
It is an inescapable fact that a longer shaft will reduce the MOI of this or any club. Two to three inches isn't much, but until we can figure out how to change the axis of rotation from the shoulder/neck plane of the guy swinging the club, grams per cm2 is going to decrease with length. The difference between a 45 inch shaft and a 48 inch shaft would reduce MOI by about 8%.

Solid performance, but the top looks so busy and it's at the top end of the prices of this year.
Wonder if you can just turn a cheaper ping driver into one of these with a bigger weight. I bought they done much else.
You can make any driver look great, and a great driver greater..er. Not really a fair fight. I have a G430 max and can’t imagine any difference at all on my 150 mpg ball speed. The thought of low spin always gets my nads turtling.
I guess the next logical progression is a Toe2Toe between the Ping and Taylormade 10K MOI drivers.

I had a 5 year old driver with the shaft upgrade, so it was a good time to invest for the next 5.

I have been with Ping since the G...the 400 was the fastest for me, until the 430.
Turn that loft down, open the face, cut the spin! I still think it’s pointless since the max has a movable weight and that is forgiveness in a sense for a lot of people.

I would like to see a head to head put a heavier weight in the back of a normal g430 and drop the loft ...see what happens just seems a bit of a rip off

So this super forgiving game improvement driver is beyond easy to hit AND ??? Low spin??? What??? Makes no sense and it's a bomber. Ok Alex you owe me a shirt and possibly an attorney as my wife is angry I just spit coffee thru my nose all over the new shirt she bought me TODAY!!!! 😂 The "come my lady" got me and I lost it and unfortunately had a mouth full of coffee 😂 2550 for you??? That's really low spin from a forgiving club???? This is the reason there are a few tour players hitting a Max driver. I think it's about time for another review with the Hammer hair!!! Maybe a wrestling outfit with the hammer hair??? 😂😂😂

Poor ping. This driver is bad. the other heads are better. Other channels are finding BIG problems with this driver. The 10k idea is just bad marketing... you can't beat physics.

Nobody does MOI like Ping. AL in comments above doesn't believe it's the shaft (credit to him), but it is. AL needs to retest for himself with the Ping tour black 2.0.
Such a hideous looking driver, with how good the new Callaway/Cobra and even the new Qi10 looks, Ping really not ageing well. Doesnt matter how decent it performs, it looks so bad at address.
