I miss Whitney. Hell, I miss the 80s artists. The 80s artists truly defined what a true Megastar is. Very rich in talent and really famous. The likes of Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna, Whitney, Janet Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, George Michael, etc... These artists cannot be duplicated. The artists of 2000s and beyond cannot match them. I don't know, but with the exception of a few, the 2000s & 2010s artists are just not that talented & missing in X factor when compared to the 80s & even 90s artists. Just like what Cher said "If I could turn back time."

A lot of those people were overworked and taken advantage of, not to take away from their talents but they had to suffer a great deal to produce this level of quality. One thing I loved about watching and listening to Whitney Houston is that she made every note, no matter how high, seem effortless. Unlike most female singers who make singing seems as if it takes every bit of strength they have to hit the high notes. Whitney can smile while she hits the highest of notes, and projects that she really enjoys singing, instead of making it seem like it is exhausting them.

I remember first seeing this music video on an airplane while I was flying back to Los Angeles in January of 1994 after having vacationed at my parents' house on the East Coast. It was that same night that the Northridge Earthquake hit the Southland. Ouch! Anyhow, this video was different from anything that Whitney Houston had ever done up to that point in time, but she pulled it all off beautifully. I definitely give this video a like. :-)
