This reminds me of when I was 20. I remember sitting in my room writing a suicide note. I was reliving repressed memories and fighting with both my parents, I hated myself and just couldn't take the pain anymore. I was going to overdose and slit my wrists. But I didn't. I decided to hold off one more night because I wanted to see the series finale of a show I loved. I never made the attempt and I put my note in the trash. It's a long hard road to get back to living after being in that hell. Now I am in a better place and am married. 5 years later I still look back on my darkest night and remind myself why I'm still fighting. My wife is there all the time and honestly has been the only support I have ever gotten. She reminds me of just how beautiful life can really be. I hope anyone contemplating suicide does what I did: wait just one more day and you keep doing that until you can get through that urge. I hope you can find peace of mind and learn to love yourself in this life. I hope you find a real friend that is there no matter how bad the night. Know that you are beautiful and that you are loved. Stay safe, strong and glorious lovelies. ❤

@@remingtonlanenga2524 I did it too bro you will be happy again trust me you will I walked that road a year ago after 3 years of toxic relationship now I'm happier than ever and looking back in my memories i wish i did it earlier ☺️
Haha just stand up straight with your head held firmly and looking locked dead forward and know your the man or woman. Like someone said cherish the good moments and just keeping moving, it sucks when you give a person years of your precious time and things happen. But in the end you always have to think about yourself and continue to be happy. Never let a partner be the reason for your happiness, it'll destroy you when it's over or they betray you.
My older brother used to always play this on the piano when I was little and it put me to sleep. I never knew who the song was by and what the name of the song was and I never really cared to ask him. I love this song.
This song is so poetic .. I know this will be appreciated hundreds of years from now without a doubt . This is my 100% truth. You’d agree if you listen to the composition of everything that went into this song!! The words, emotions behind them , and their deepest possible meanings🥰🥰🥰It’s so beautiful!!❤️❤️❤️❤️ That’s the beauty of music . It’s the most valuable and beautiful form of art
For me, this song is about finally standing up for yourself and getting out of a toxic relationship. "Your subtleties, they strangle me. I can't explain myself at all" is the point where you realize the relationship is suffocating both of you. "And all the wants and all the needs all I don't want to need at all" describes the feeling of inescapable need in a severely co-dependent relationship. When you've finally had enough and decide to deliver the final blow, the weight suddenly lifts because it ends tonight. "Just a little insight won't make it right. It's too late to fight" describes the cycle of breaking up and making up. You made the decision to end the relationship even when that person refuses to let go. It then becomes their burden and not yours and you are free. "A falling star at least I fall alone" and Now I'm on my own side. It's better than being on your side" shows you are ready to walk away from the relationship permanently without a chance of reconciliation.

The song reminds of my time in high school. Wow time flies..
Whenever I hear this song, it reminds me of the middle school dances back in 6th grade. I wanted to dance with this guy so bad, I've had this huge ass crush on him for the longest time.
This was the last song playing (or slow dance song playing) and I couldn't get the courage to go ask him.
I'm 22 years old now and that person is now my husband xD

Teach me and I will apply it. Haha
I hadn't heard this song in years until yesterday at the grocery store. It started playing & I'm confused on how I know the words. Then it smacked me in the face & I started singing this at the top of my lungs in the middle of the store.
It was pretty amazing(:
Who’s still listening this in pandemic time? 2021 🔥
