Its sometimes out of tune and it sounds like it is a lot of work. Maybe that is the reason why the notes cannot vibrate properly.

Lmao, exactly the reason I stopped playing double bass. As bad as it is to admit (I'm grateful to all my teachers and recognize their skill on the instrument), there's pretty much only one bassist whose solo work I've truly enjoyed listening to and that was Rinat Ibragimov
@@teok5665you’re missing out on some great soloists then, I wouldn’t even consider Rinat the best at this point. Also what happened to being an orchestral bassist?
