No way, I just learned , and before I knew it, BOOM, jumping. It won’t take you years more like weeks!! I did fall backwards the first time. Hurt like hell. Lol
Nah. Not years. I started skating a year ago and I can do a 180 on skates. Trust in the process, trust in yourself. You can do this.

-quick question if you don’t mind.
I bought VNLA Stealth Jr. skates as a newbie, but I’ve come to realize now that I wish I bought something better for rhythm skating.
Would it be completely strange to swap out my wheels on these skates for some more typical for rhythm skating?
The current wheels are 94a 62mm x 40mm. They seem good for going fast, but I’m having some difficulty with spins and one foot pivot in particular-I really have to lift up my wheels a lot.
