Side note, I think it was confirmed that the next set would be about the 4 current yonko, so I'm definitely thinking these blackbeard teases were intentional (similar to blue ace from op07 teasing op08 blue whitebeard support)

Pluffy is a lot stronger than people think it is with sakazuki out of the picture. Not only does it ramp up faster than any deck, but playing double magellan will fuck with any deck and especially black decks that want to KO as much as possible and then curve into Gecko. The only decks I feel he struggles with is law, bonney and g/p doffy.
Insert 6c brooks.. trash Magellan. Keep cooking tho

6k Black beard with a wacky mechanic like having 8 life cards but taking double damage with every attack, since according to the Manga he absorbs attacks but still takes a lot of damage

Lol bro since wb (I'm running him myself since op05) bandai has to be really careful in designing 6k leaders. Like bro with your suggestion you are seeing 8 additional cards without beeing forced to take them in your turn and in the late game you are literally playing like wb but with beeing able to see 2 more cards than him lol :D
I think the new blue blackbeard card will pair well into BY Ace as well. It can de-brick your hand by placing one of your 5 cost characters on top and adds the 2 don needed for leader effect.
You can essentially set up your three brothers combo for free while getting an additional body on the board.
The 2 cost Black Beard could be pretty good in B/Y Ace. You play it, setup your search and the 2 rested dons go on your Leader to activate main.

I will absolutely be messing with RY Sabo in OP07. I want to mess with BY Luffy first because I can finally play a competitive BY deck (which are my favorite colors), but I think RY Sabo will be an absolute sleeper in OP07.
Hina is perfect for Black Luffy..... excited for that Starter Deck, Whitebeard will be nice for RIP Uta lol, and I agree BB will definitely be a Blue Black leader but I think it'll be more focuses on high costing characters. Lastly, the way the new support is coming out, it seems more and more that bottom decking is not a mechanic this game likes and RP Law will be getting banned, it should really be a strict blue mechanic only.
IDK, Hody puts in work and he did get a few cards of support from OP07. I usually beat most of the people I go up against, including a good majority of the "Competitive" decks.

Purple Kaido is definitely competitive in OP-08 because there's 3 dubs so far in the East
Being one of 2 Red uta players I can confirm that the ranking is accurate.
mono blue croc is really under rated. With all the access to the seven warlords and bottom decking plus returning cards it has i say it would be in A tier. but that's just my opinion.

Yep, unfortunately Mono Blue Croc gets a bit outclassed by the new support that Doffy got and like you said Boa.
I really want R/P Uta to work out, she really just needs something to handle her trash, either a stage that reacts to trashed card or something, I don't know...

R/Y sabo is right there. I have not dropped a game to luffy or law yet. There is just a bit more tweaking for other decks.

I think reiju is way too high mostly due to the nearly automatic loss to R/P law they basicly get to decide if you deck gets to function you cant keep your don under them. which is a shame because its a very fun deck
Was losing a game against reiju with my zephyr deck until it clicked and I just used my ability once and the deck stopped functioning 😂
sleeping on kata by the way anything below a is hard sleeping him still only competitive leader to drop 10 moms and still has the high rolling yellow style that wins games 🙂😁 talking about 07 by the way
i love r/y sabo and i’ve been testing it so much since it’s release but with the release of bonney, all of these 5 life leaders, and just this overall slower meta i feel so discouraged to play it in this format 😔
for me vsing bonney, uta, and enel are just insta losses and it does not feel good 😭😭
I will be revisiting the Leader as soon as I get the time, but I don't think those matchups should be instant losses, we might have to modify the deck

Mono yellow Big Mom is criminally underrated.. She's the better mom pirates leader imo.
Hard no. Shes more control based with being able to mess woth triggers how you want. She needs more skill to actively plan your triggers. On the other hand the extra +1000 from katas ability is just too strong. Simple but much more effective
@@kylescup878 I think you hit the nail on the head when saying big mom is more skill based but that doesn't mean worse. Stacking your triggers to build board and disrupt is better than +1000. Also as VV points out many time some of these leaders need a special pilot and build to be relevant and Im a menace at locals w mom against "stronger leaders" I've finish against P/Y croc with 7 lives.. that's at the end of the game
The problem with mono yellow big mom is that she is essentially a vanilla Katakuri for most of the game since she needs to be at a certain life value to be active.

From what I have seen it starts to swap over to almost a full on Land of Wano Fortress variant that has strong Life Gain and has a great Finisher in Hody

Honestly, it's a sleeper, I wasn't sure where to put it I can see an argument for it to be right around Doffy Range, but not being able to cheat out Characters from top of Deck might slow it down too much against heavy removal. However, Zonji is an absolute bruiser for sure.

I find your extreme confidence in R/P Luffy baffling since it failed to leave any impact at all on the japanese 07 meta. I'd say regular purple luffy has more tops
Reiju should go down a tier just because it has an almost 0% chance to beat law and we can all agree that law will be the most played deck
