I managed to cut my watch habit back in the 90’s, although I admit I just spent more on a watch this week than I’ve ever spent. And yes, mechanical. Not accurate as quartz - unless you spend some serious dosh. Which I hope to avoid! This is a nice one. There are some very nice mechanical watches out now based on Seiko movements, with good reason. Nice you can wind it. I know watch guys can quote every movement and their specs, hope to never get there! Custom knives are a bad enough vice. Cool and congrats!

Good looking watch! Not a fan of the band though, but as you mentioned, easily swapped out with numerous options.
