    The 2020 - 2023 Puma is much better looking imho. Personally i like the full led ford GT like headlights, the front looked better before and not a fan at all of the dash in this 2024 one. The boot looks a bit less wide on this one, while the interior roof looks a bit higher? could be wrong on that but i don't believe this model will get as much attention as the former. A well equipped titanium X or st line X is a great car.

    Thank yo ufos the video. I received the previous version of Puma last April. I am so glad I have knobs for climate control. One detail that so far is missing from the new Puma is an option for the auto park assist. I found it helpful in a few occations.

    Absolutely awful!!! And to think they want that money for what essentially was for my fully loaded 1.5 200hp Puma ST is horrific. The interior looks like it's from an 1980's Vauxhall, and that steering wheel is just 🤮 I'm actually going to have to go to a different brand soon as there is no longer anything exciting in the Ford range. They have totally lost it.

      I totally agree, and I have the 1.5 also. However, I am really struggling as to what to have next. Probably just hold on to mine.

      Hello buddy, I also bought a new ST 1.5 a month ago. I didn't have chance to do many miles yet and didn't clocked 1k miles either. The thing I wonder is the mpg for new car. Is it normal to have noticable higher mpg in these cars when brand new? I read 11 litres for 100km/22 mpg in info screen. People say its normal it will decrease in long run but I just fear that mpg will stay similar because of the ST setup of this car.

      @Thebstuart92 Před 25 dny

      Got a 1.5 too. Specced up a new ST and in order to get a round steering wheel you have to pay £1500 for a ‘handling pack’ probably going to keep hold of mine. Ford just feel a bit lost atm.

    The interior is so old fashioned. And the steering wheel is huge. The Explorer works much better. The Goodwood car had a little sign saying not representative of UK specification. So that clears it up.

    The interior looks horrific, what is that!! pre-facelift was fine just needed a screen update with smaller bezels

    • @steveglossop
      @steveglossop Před měsícem

      The interior has a integrated bigger screen with a sound bar across the top. The previous Puma spec is the now out of date "pop up" laptop style small screen that every current Asian car has. You want physical controls. They cost more than screen controls. Do the maths. That's where car functionality is heading for the mass consumer.

    Agree with everyone else about the interior. Looks like 2 iPads just bolted on. My 2022 st-line x has been faultless and up for a change in 4 months but I’m not sure on this new version. And also agree with others mentioning controls all on one screen , I much prefer the manual knobs/buttons on mine. Will have to see it in the flesh before making complete judgement . Exterior lovely , interior so so.

    I find i often get used to new car changes. Got the old spec vignale have not seen this one in flesh yet but will keep an open mind 🤔

  • @christopherelliott-lyle7100

    Yeah totally agree, looks like a DIY retrofit screen sadly.
    Good bit of tech on them though

    OMG, the dash looks like a kit car, it’s a total dog’s dinner. What a shame, I’ve been waiting for the new facelift before ordering one, I’m honestly questioning if I should look at an alternative, as my wife hates it too!

    • @SamAustin
      @SamAustin  Před měsícem

      It is a confused dash from my time checking it out. I really like the new Civic I am trying currently as a press car from Honda. I appreciate it is a different segment to the Puma I just feel it is a car perhaps worth considering: czcams.com/video/ZxAJ3ai-ZVY/video.html 🙂

    It’s quite sad watching the demise of Ford right in front of our eyes 😢 Most of the lineup now is simply overpriced turd 😕

    Not even wanting to hate - that interior is repulsive. I actually thought it was a van from the thumbnail. Coupled with the 1.0 engine in an “ST”, it feels like an insult lmao

      Many congrats on your Puma being your next car. Have you checked any comparison sites regarding insurance? I would do this before purchasing the car personally.

    That touchscreen is terrible and the hassle and danger attached to simply trying to alter the heat, fan speed and direction is utterly ridiculous.

  • @KAM-666

    This is the first time I’ve seen the puma interior, it’s just awful, cheap cold plastic everywhere, huge screens that look like they don’t belong together, and a steering wheel made by cavemen. I’m sorry it’s a moose, The puma exterior is pleasing on the eye, but that’s it .

  • @PB-fj5lh

    The dash /steering wheel combo is awful. Whoever signed that off needs sacking off. It's just looks horrendous. It just doesn't work with the car
