- Mikko Rantanen is EXTREMELY UNDERRATED!!
#mikkorantanen #rantanen #nhl
Mikko Rantanen is one of the most underrated players in the NHL. This past season, Rantanen scored the most goals in a season in the Colorado Avalanche's franchise history with 55 goals in 82 games. Rantanen has already accomplished so much in his NHL Career and he is just entering his prime now. In my opinion, he is the best power forward in the NHL. This is why I think Rantanen is going to help the Colorado Avalanche win more Stanley Cups in the future.

He's a true complete hockey player. Size, speed, skill, shot - everything. I hope the Avs as a team can stay healthier next season and maybe win another cup.
I agree
Ive watched Mikko since he was drafted and he went through a phase where he was a little shakey on his skates but we all saw his potential. He honestly has some sick hands and can score on anyway
He is amazing. One of my favourite players in the NHL.
He's the most complete Avalanche forward since Forsberg. Still pisses me off how most of the Avs fans considered Rantanen a bum during the season they won the cup.
He is so underrated
Whats weird is that I went back and looked some players up during their 2010's cup run. He had similar point totals to Kane, Williams and Crosby. All players who are praised as playoff legends.
@@VideosNoOnethat speaks volumes
@@VideosNoOnehe is 9th overall of all-time ppg and 4th on active players in the playoff
I wish you would have highlighted his insane game reading and the way he holds his stick when in close to the goal. He drops his grip to all the way down on stick to be able to elevate shots from right in front of goalie. His head is a computer reading the situation and usually does the right thing in any scenario.
On a team with Makar/Mckinnon-he probably will always be underrated. But I was just making the point-as somebody who works at Ball arena. We are so damn lucky to have 5 SUPERSTARS(Jokic,Makar,Mckinnon,Murray,& Rantanen)-who are not only great players-but loyal to Denver, care deeply bout their teammates,& care deeply bout winning.
All 5 seem to be great humans...no Ja"wannabe gangsta" nonsense or off court drama with these 5. Or putting their own ego ahead of team success. Mico is a top 15...maybe top 10 player on earth...he just happens to be 3rd best on his own team. But hopefully the Avs get a lil injury luck this yr-as Mico was the rare Av who stayed healthy last yr-& after winning the nhl/nba back 2 back...its not impossible that Ball might be hosting the NBA/NHL Finals simultaneously next June. Avs WILDLY overachieved last yr with the injuries-considering they were the most injured nhl deffending champ in around 3 decades.
Very well said. Thank you for sharing that.
RIP former superstar Landeskog, but Pat Surtain II is becoming one of them
@@JSauer21 I believe Landy will play again-but who knoes at what level...unrealistic to expect at the same level. But I know hes working like a madman. I dont ever think he was a superstar though. Superstar leader,& all the intangables...but mere star on the ice. He did average basically a point per game his last few yrs-so thats a borderline superstar-but on ice id put him more in the star catergory like Nichuskin,& Toewes. But definitely superstar leader.
Him and Pasta the best wingers in the league imo
Kucherov as well
Kucherov is 1
@@fk4410 Valid, Kucherov is back
He’s the avalanche best player this season he needs to shoot more look how accurate he is
Are you insane? Mackinnon is the best player in the league right now
His game remind me of players in indoor hockey game that is called floorball. Mikko Rantanen has same kinds of moves these players have used a long time. In floorball there is also stick but its a lot lighter and ball is also lighter than buck but Mikko Rantanen can handle the stick and buck in similar ways on ice. He stays on buck and handles it with moves that are similar from floorball.
he has played floorball in his youth
and this new season hasn't started badly either.....
He has been playing very well so far.
40 goals and over 100 points and few games left
If he was Canadian he wouldn't be.
Yup. A lot of non-americans get over looked.
NOW, you're talking "underrated". Not Suzuki...Rantanen
Right now, I think Rantanen is the most underrated player.
@@methodz2850 you don’t think Rantanen is underrated?
Similar to Jagr.
I agree
It's not Räntänen though 😅
I don’t like rantanen but I’m bruins fan
He is one of the best players in the NHL
"I'm bruins fan" and that's why 😂
You guys need to know that hes from finland and that mean less praises and recognition he gets the better he plays
