Hey,I'm yamaha/mbk fan,and maybe I can help,We call them yamaha bw's or mbk booster spirit in Belgium 🇧🇪 , we have a hole lot of tuning parts for these scooters(bcd/dmp/tnt, bodyshell),the motor is a minarelli block and you can find them on other scooters from this type, these types are: mbk boosters spirit/next-generation/mbk stunt,or yamaha bw's type : naked,rocket,slider, I have been bouldin/fixing/tuning/welding/and more for more than 20 years now,I only buy scooters in parts or accidents and make like new again, I hope you have the same fun as me building these scooters,I'm gonna follow your CZcams 😉👍👍👍🛵

When gas is spilling outta the carb it is usually the float needle valve getting stuck open. A few good raps on the side of the float bowl with a screwdriver handle usually fixes it.

The Riva family of scooters came from Yamaha before the Zuma came out; They did a bunch of scooters, such as the Riva 125 and the Jog, co-badged as a Riva. the red Zuma represents that transition from the tail-end of the old models to the new ones.

The forks is probably just the castle nuts on the stem that have come loose.

I hade the same problem with my bike, the vacuum line out of the tank was filled with gas and when the fuel flows in the vacuum line ito the carb it did not want to run

Check the front fork bearings for play, I think you might be better off putting a yamaha aerox front fork In it
