Clearing rocky farm land in Newfoundland - Bugnot rock crusher in action

We get to see how impressive the Bugnot 52 is at eliminating rocks from fields used for growing vegetables in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. Running on a Deutz 280hp tractor. Sure beats picking rocks by hand!

We have rocks the size of small cars that are just peaking out...I can't imagine the devastation to that machine. Even if you excavator 99.9% of them...1 would be problem.

Nice, you do not have to find a place tyo dump the rocks like you would if you used a rock picker. It will be interesting to see if you are going t0 need one if the frost heave moves enough rocks up. Altough the rock crusher does goive you a nice seed bed, you are going thru a lot of fuel for tillage.

Those rocks are pretty soft.
