Better late then never! Discovered Starfucker 8 years ago and felt it was better late then never back then. Listening in 2024.
Just saw them live 2 weeks ago.... They played this song and it was stellar
Am I the only one who finds the video and the song together so weirdly enchanting?
We all find the two enchanting
Yeah, Matt. You're the only one
Anytime you ask the question 'am I the only one...', actually think about it. the conclusion you'll come to is probably no. so don't ask; just make a point saying it.
Yes indeed

This song is like Home Resonance: oddly familiar, even when you hear it for the first time. A song you have alway known, even before it existed.

Same here. Great documentary too, profound stuff.
What blew my mind is I heard this song quite a few years ago for the first time (this video specifically). Then tonight, on a whim, I was drawn to search for ufos on Amazon Prime and that documentary popped up. Finally a video where nobody's trying to remind me what year it is or which show brought them here. Priceless !!
I love this video. I was born in 81 so all of my families older pics in al ums and in the wall looked like this. The style of the clothing and hair too. Old photos of family members that I know to this day or that I never met. Very nostalgic. Reminds me of being at my grandma's house.
I truly appreciate the art of beauty that it captures in great depths of great mystery.....
the music is really cool
"Made of nothing. Fade to nothing. We are so alike"
The song is, in essence, about how we are all unified in the cruelty of existence. We are not special. No matter what we do to distract ourselves while we are alive - we came from nothing, we are nothing, we will return to nothing. In this way, all humans are the same.
We are the nothing becoming something to find what it's like... The universe experiencing itself through a funny dream about some monkeys on a beautiful spinning rock... Enjoy it while it lasts ✌️💛
Would be nice if everyone thought the same. Money is the root of all evil.
We are the same. We are all looking for answers to questions that will never be asked. Love one another. Life is beautiful.
Deep man love it

This song and this music video have been an important experience for me. Since the first time I watched it in maybe 2014, this song has helped me feel melancholy, ghostly sonder. It much reminds me of when I used to look at the Bay Area from a hill near my home. All these people living out their lives, and they are probably not even aware that I'm watching from my dark hill.
I am the lonely ghost who haunts the people of the Bay Area from my dark hill. We, the audience, are the future ghosts who haunt these people from 1970-most of whom are over 70 years old or dead by now.
I love this song! Every time i hear it i get goose bumps all over my body and pure bliss. It makes me feel like im traveling through space into the stars
This song's reminds me of a longing/yearning feeling for something that can never be fulfilled but you can't help but have hope that one day the empty cup will be filled

I surprisingly just found this a few months ago. But it feels as if I’ve listened to it for years.
What this song represents to me is that ultimately individualism, personality, and personal experience is all an illusion. We are all one -- all from the same fabric of space & time & ultimately from the same energy source or life force. We are all here to learn the same lessons. All of us feel the same pains, the same happiness in life -- even though the physical & material may cloud your true vision a lot of the time. Only do we truly reunite with these realizations when we return to the source -- the golden light.
Damn, that's deep.
oh but it’s very real my friend, the stars themselves are all stars but they all have individual purpose and meaning. Some shine brighter than others, some are in the later stages of their progress.
