this is in my opinion...the ALBUM of the year - easily. This CD ROCKS from front to back.
He's also a very underrated vocalist. You can definitely tell his tone is influenced by Miles a bit

Tremonti is an absolute hero, incredible songwriter, singer, guitarist, and now his charity work singing Sinatra. The dude is unstoppable. Can't wait for the new Alter Bridge album.
This songs a grower. One of my favourites from the album.
All of his solo shit is incredibly underrated and an audible pleasure. All 5 albums- cover to cover -are phenomenal.
Tank I’m so glad you are reacting to some Tremonti, would love you to do the song “Marching In Time” next, not only is it a banger but Mark also wrote it for his newborn daughter from his perspective of having a child during a global pandemic and preparing her for growing up over this uncertain period, so i’m sure you’d really dig that one 🤘

I so enjoyed your reaction, especially when you got to the solo! It is a shame more people do not know and appreciate Mark's immense talent. He is an absolute monster and to top it off, he is one of the nicest humans, along with all the guys in Alter Bridge and Tremonti. They are so humble. Love me some Tremonti and Alter Bridge. Ahh i can’t wait for this one, Tremonti is one of my favorite artists of all time. Everything he touches is great.
This is music that applies equally to me as a metalhead and to my friends who prefer prog and classic rock. Mark is a true grandmaster of guitar, but also a pretty good vocalist. In "Let that be us" he sounds almost like Tom from Evergrey. Definitely, I'm gonna buy this album.

I'm a big fan of Mark, including his solo work. Go back to his first solo album, "All Is Well" and listen to "You Waste Your Time" and "Wish You Well". That album is still my favorite Tremonti album.
Mark Tremonti is my guitar hero. I learned guitar because of him and van Halen. So he is so awesome. I saw him live in 2002 and it was worth every penny. Absolutely amazing. But when did he take a page out of breaking Benjamin and this riff is just like them. So best of both worlds. Keep reacting to him.
I love Tremonti, he's been my favorite guitarist since Creed got me into heavier music. This is one of those songs that will grow on me, definitely has an almost prog feel to it

Tremonti usually leaves his solo towards the end. He does in Alter Bridge quite often too and yeah, go through his solo stuff, it's fantastic.

Ryan Bennett is the best drummer I never knew about. As you said, the toms sound fucking huge. Chorus is slightly predictable, but it still crushes overall

Tremonti is amazing!! Some of my favorites from him are: Once Dead, Flying Monkeys, Brains, Let That Be Us and Decay. Alter Bridge also put out an unreleased song which is just amazing guitar in a song called Ahavo Rabo Taco Salad if you haven't listened to it yet!

Hell yeah some Tremonti! Some songs for you to check out: Radical Change, Cauterize, Another Heart, A Dying Machine. I honestly love every album, and Mark’s guitar work is up there with the best of all time.
For me, Elvis really compresses the drums in basically all the albums he produces.... And well... in general the albums all sound pretty compressed. He does it with alter bridge too and it really hurts the satisfaction of the album for me. I still love the music to the point where alter bridge is still my favorite band, but I just wish the sound stage was larger haha. I always use rage against the machine and audio slave as two fantastically produced artists. The drums and overall soundstage are just so breathable. All of tremontis works are still stellar

I like to think of myself as somewhat of a guitar(ist) aficionado and I gotta admit, I'd never heard of Mark Tremonti. I'd wager it's just cause Creed and Alter Bridge aren't "hard enough" to pop on my radar, can't say since I've never heard of Alter Bridge and only heard Creed for maybe 1-2 songs if that.
I actually discovered this song just like two weeks ago :D Really dope track. Looking forward to checking out the album as well.
I saw them in concert after their first album was released & was honored to meet them (Mark, Eric, Garret & Wolfgang). I knew it was going to be something special.

I was on break at work while watching this video. My coworker walked into the back and saw me rocking out(I may or may not have been using my fork and knife as psudo drumsticks) he asked me to let him have a listen. Yo man, Tremonti has had 5 studio albums... where have you been?! Haha this solo project was created so he could specifically put out his heavier stuff that didn't work in his previous bands. Even as a long time Tremonti fan, I get surprised by the heaviness sometimes as well. Speaking of, you should react to the song "A World Away" from this same album. It is HEAVY🤘

I feel as though Mark isn't as well loved because of multiple factors, 1 he was apart of everyone's favorite punching bag Creed, because of that people in the US wrote AB off as Creed 2.0 which isn't the case at all. Second, he's not an over the top character. Mark doesn't have much drama factor, he keeps his head down and keeps going. He's not into drugs, he seems for the most part a quiet and respectable dude and that's great, but wild and crazy tends to catch people's eye more. Even the bad blood he has with Stapp doesn't get aired out a whole lot he tends to keep it under wraps for the most part.

I agree. I think the Creed thing kind of worked against him, but if you listen to his entire body of work, he is very talented. His influences are very heavy too, so he can chug and shred with the best of them. He should be more recognized for his contributions. I saw him at LTL in Louisville and he always slays.

I love Tremonti and I also didn't expect SUCH a heavy riff! To be honest I thought that this was like Tremonti cooperating with Trivium. Nonetheless, this might be the heaviest song on the album, some others are a bit more like AB, but the whole record is really awesome!
