Your VCA collection is awesome. I have only one VCA piece. It's a vintage Alhambra single motif lapis and yellow gold necklace that belonged to my mom. I got it after she passed away 10 years ago. Dad got if for her one Christmas when I was a kid, 7 or 8 years old. I never stack it with any other necklaces. I even wear it to work. I love the piece, and it is probably worth more now than when my dad got it. I have no idea how much he paid for it. It has sentimental value to me as well because it was my mom's. (Jan Griffiths).
Aww what a special piece with such precious memories attached to it! Truly priceless! Lapis is so gorgeous too and Van Cleef no longer makes this necklace so it’s very unique as well.

You have one of the best VCA collections on CZcams / IG! Such a diverse range. I also love the clover bangle so much and yes in Australia it is just so painfully expensive for what it is 😅 but the design is so unique ❤ I would love to see a pink MOP but only seen it in the watch form and I don’t wear watches lol
Same! I’ve contemplated getting that watch too because of the pink MOP and rose gold guilloche combo but like you I also don’t wear watches. I’m hoping they make that combo in a bracelet form eventually. Or if they made anything in pink MOP or rose gold guilloche (without the carnelian) I would get it right away 😆 I also love the yellow MOP too. Why can’t they make these instead of using the new stones they decided to release 😭
My favourites of the samples in this video are the plum blossom necklace and earrings. I also like the last necklace you showed, but I would like it in white gold.
As for my own personal jewelry, no brands, luxury or otherwise for me. I would say my favourite is my engagement ring. Additionally, I like jewelry with diamonds, pearls, and white gold or silver, and pieces with a family history.
I wish they would come out with that necklace in more options. Currently they do have a white gold pavé one as well but I don’t like how the motifs have a tendency to flip whenever there’s multiple to a piece. I need both sides to look the same. A simple white gold one would be stunning!
I love my engagement ring too. So glad my husband let me pick it out 😆
There are so many beautiful ways to wear the 16 sweet motif necklace that I have seen styled that I am convinced I need to add this to the list. I generally like my necklaces to be understated and earrings, rings and bracelets to be more statement pieces. Yes you have convinced me to add this to my list.
It’s such a versatile piece! I haven’t done this myself but you can also adjust the length by hooking the clasp between the motifs instead. And that “excess” part of the necklace can go in the back or the front for a different look each way. It’ll be a great piece to complement all your statement jewelry 😁
I went to the VCA on 5th Ave in NY to pick up other pieces and had the opportunity to try on the 16 sweet pave with diamonds. The necklace is stunning and is understated elegance. Definitely will be getting this in the future. I am not one to love white gold but this is such a versatile piece.
Ooh I’ve never tried that specific necklace on before, only the matching bracelet and it’s stunning! What did you pick up from VCA? Did you get the holiday pendant?
I got the Perlee clovers bracelet and matching ring the thick classic versions both in gold.
Congrats on your new pieces! 🩷 Do you find the ring comfortable? I thought about adding the matching ring for my sweet clovers bracelet but I worry that the clovers/beads will make it uncomfortable to wear.

Did you ever try on Tiger Eye pieces and if so, what did you think? Went in store today planning to get the white MOP pendant necklace but fell in love with the tiger eye pendant instead! The rational part of me wants to get the MOP cos it's more versatile but the tiger eye just shimmers so beautifully.
Wow you’re so lucky you found the pendant in stock. Every time I’ve asked to see anything in tiger’s eye when I’m in the boutique they didn’t have any. I’ve seen other tiger’s eye pieces elsewhere though and it’s not my thing since I don’t really wear those colors. MOP will always be available but if you really like the tiger’s eye and think you’ll wear it then go for that first 😄

Thanks!!! ❤️ Personally I prefer the sweet size but I feel like that’s an unpopular opinion. I love the sweet size especially as a layering piece so if you like to layer your necklaces I say go for the sweet. It also does look good on its own too. However the vintage size might be better as a standalone piece if you want a bit more presence without being flashy (even though I think the motif is just a slight bit too big).

How long is the long sweet al hambra necklace? How do you get it to wrap around twice?
How does the frivole pendant wear? 6:45 I have the earrings and really like them (with the diamonds, not the rubies). I feel like the mirror finish works great on the ear because it is less likely to scratch. In considering the pendant, I’m worried about the pendant scratching. Since you sometimes layer it, I am especially curious how it wears for you.
I don’t notice any scratches on mine but I also hardly layer it. When I do it’s with my DBTY pendant from Tiffany’s which is significantly shorter so the two necklaces don’t really overlap as long as I adjust them from time to time. In saying that though the necklace does require more frequent cleaning than the earrings because I touch it more.
On the Guilloche bracelet, if VCA has a rose gold version, would you get it immediately since your preferred metal is rose gold?
Would you know if VCA ever considered any of their guilloche items in rose gold?
VCA does have various guilloche pieces that are in rose gold mixed with other materials (carnelian and mother of pearl for example) but I have no idea if pieces in solely rose gold will be easily available eventually. I’m sure if you’ve spent enough with them you could special order it but I’m not at that stage yet 🤣 I personally hope they will expand the range though as I would get it in a heartbeat. I’ve been tempted to get the sweet alhambra watch in pink mother of pearl/rose gold guilloche just for the guilloche aspect even though I don’t even wear watches 😆

I have considered it if you’re referring to the 6 motif bracelet. It’s not one of my priorities right now though since my jewelry wishlist is quite long 😅
When it comes to luxury goods I only consider cost per wear. If you dwell on the material cost nothing will be worth the price tag you paid for 😅 My most worn pieces are the 5 motif chalcedony and the sweet 6 motif. I have the 16 motif on my wish list too but it rarely pop up at the boutique and my SA quoted me a 3-6 months wait so we'll see. Btw, will you be getting the holiday pendant this year? :)
I’ve been eyeing those two bracelets too! I had to wait for the 16 motif necklace also - it took about 2 months for me but it was worth it 😆
I declined the holiday pendant for now because I didn’t have time to go see it in person and I wasn’t wowed by it based off the initial news prior to the release. I’m so split now though after seeing everyone’s photos 😩 Are you getting it?
@@CAROLCHANNELINGCHIC Yes, I just picked up the holiday pendant. I will say it does look a bit flat in photos (some people said it looks like kitchen countertop or cement? lol) but in person the shimmer is really pretty and sophisticated imo. I'd say definitely check it out in person before you rule it out. I happen to wear a lot neutral tones and definitely a lot of grey's so this year's pendant is perfect.

@@CAROLCHANNELINGCHIC Lol it kind of does look like the felt tray depend on the lighting. I was given 3 to choose from, all in similar shade of grey, but the main differences are some look more shimmery than others, and some have smoother texture than others (one of them look and feel bumpy). I picked the most shimmery one with a smooth surface 🥰
I have yellow and white gold bracelets and rose gold one with 3 red motifs , one 10 black motifs necklace,last month I paid 100% for 10 yellow gold motifs necklace but have to wait 4-5 months to get😢

I took my Sweet Alhambra rose gold bracelet and linked it to another Amazon bracelet and wear it as a necklace. One day I will have the 18-motif rose gold necklace! ❤ Great video!
