Short question: would you always cut the hair towards the crown shorter and leave it in comparison a little bit longer in the fringe, for example when styling the hair up and backwards like in a pompadour. Or would u reccommend an equal lenghth throughout the top? Kind regards 💇🏻♂️

Hey Dan I love watching your Vids cos it's the only time I get to see a proper barber who knows what they are doing and explaining everything. I would love to get my hair done by you but your all the way down in London cos I feel I have difficult hair for anyone to give me a nice haircut. I'm Chinese so you know my type of hair, a double crown and also a bald patch from where I got scalded when I was a kid 😬! Just discovered this channel today, as someone that had done a bit of hairdressing, and someone that personally gets frustrated with hairdressers not taking into account hair type, texture, thickness, thinness et al, you can tell this guy knows his ‘stuff’, totally understands that hairdressing is a science. Majority of barbers cut peoples hair as if everyone has the same head shape, hair type etc. very frustrating even if you tell them to do this or that they dont
@@IWTBF totally agree! Think it’s the ‘one cut fits all’.
I once had a guy thin my hair to within an inch of its life even after I’d told him not to. My hair is naturally wavy, I have a lot of it but it’s thin in texture so thinning it doesn’t help me. Needless to say he didn’t get paid at the end of the cut.
I know go to someone that has a similar hair type to me who understands the constraints of wavy/curly hair.

Hell ye missed the cuts, when a video comes up it is like a kid to candy. Would be great to get a haircut from here but that is like a 5hours car ride for me. Haven't had a good cut in my life currently not cut it for 1year and a half. Tied up in a bun atm, I might apply for a cut soon.

do you think razoring just the tips of the fringe with it laid flat on the forhead would be a better way to break up the ends and get a more natural look? how about thinning scizzors? i think i need to buy either one, i cut my own hair just by pinching bits and chopping with scizzors all over but i really struggle with breaking up the fringe, point cutting doesnt work for me, cheers mate been watching your vids for hours haha

My husband's head is round and then in the back, there is a slant/flat before going into the base of the cut. I don't know how to cut this so it looks seamless. Also I would like to see elderly gentlemen haircuts please.
