Yes but we all have to admit that, and the original they never said femme, femmebot, lady “curves” or anything else that would be inherently misogynistic. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t have a problem with this kind of misogyny being portrayed if they were humans, not because I by any means endorse such behavior, but rather, if the situation wouldn’t be realistic to have misogyny in it, such as asexual robots, then it just feels straight up unnecessary. I get that stuff happens in the human world but Cybertron eons wouldn’t ever do that. They don’t have such a concept of it because female doesn’t really exist on Cybertron

@@mdxque8393 yes but “lovely face quote doesn’t necessarily pertain to a female person and it was more overtly of a talent than commenting on her curves and also the fact that they said don’t treat a lady like that, they don’t have a concept of that. I think knockout would’ve said “lovely features “to email transformer too, because again, they don’t have a concept of misogyny so therefore they don’t really see each other as really different, because gender doesn’t really exist on the planet as they are robots.

Breakdown spoke like that about Airachnid once in an episode and they DO have gender. Arcee calls herself a lady in the episode when Jack wanted to impress his crush. So not only have you outed yourself as a hypocrite but also very misinformed. We’re doomed if people care more about fictional characters than using their energy to protest stuff about what’s happening in REAL LIFE like actual misogyny. Fyi, there are FAR important things to worry about than arguing whether or not robots find each other attractive or not smh. Also comics exist not just the cartoon. I always thought it would have been neat if they made Knockout the sixth member of the Stunticons if they ever showed up. Although with Breakdown dead they're be down a member, unless they somehow revive him. If they ever do a G1 remake I'd enjoy seeing Knockout as the sixth member of the Stunticon team, I'm sure they could use a Doctor to put them back together after their especially rough destruction derbys. Besides, it'd be nice if he could stick with his buddy Breakdown, who is a Stunticon.

As a huge fan of the original series...Prime and all the other iterations...I can honestly say this was a treat to watch. You've done a fantastic job adapting the Combaticons to the prime universe as well as Rodimus and Springer. I would love to see more of this work ...more I say! Keep up the fantastic work!

@Prime Animations I love this scene, but I have a need to share a slight critique un the fight sequence; When the rest of the Autbots show up on scene, it seems like Onslaught is spooked into having the Combaticons combine. I feel like the story would flow better if instead the Autobiots show up, fight the Combaticons for a minute or so, and gain the upper hand, which IN TURN, FORCE THE COMBATICONS to combine into Bruticus. Now if this is just too much work to add in I understand, but I feel like having the Combaticons have their backs against the wall, so to speak, would provide a good basis for having them merge into Bruticus.

I really find that when Rodimus has his crossbow it reminds me of the Animated Rodimus who does have a crossbow, and I gotta say it really has got “The Touch!” LOL

I really hate to be super critical of this, but well, the dialogue in this clip feels really off.
Particularly from the combaticons, Onslaught's "flirting" with Arcee feel so out of place and kind of creepy. Maybe that was the intent but, it doesn't feel right.
But there's also a lot of what feels like repeat dialogue, like how many times did the cons tell the autobots to surrender in this clip?
I feel like this scene would need a slight rewrite, not any major changes, just a take 2 of sorts.
But I get the feeling the dialogue is probably set in stone at this point, and I respect that.
I'm not saying this out of any malice, simply that you can still be critical of something you love. I think this scene could use a rewrite, but that's just me.
I only hear the word surrender once at about 8:20. Where else did you hear it?
As for the creepy line, totally done on purpose. Just like Springer and Rodimus, he hasn't seen a female bot in some time (scene 8) and I wanted to contrast the difference between "gentlebots" and a "creepbot". Reason for this will be revealed as progress is made.
The "curves" was intended to be a pun since motorcycles are very curvy and sleek. Similar to when Knockout first meets Optimus Primes and whistles at his rims and says He's real heavy duty.
Totally appreciate hearing your opinion and hope my explanation makes sense :)
@@PrimeAnimationsOfficial Okay, so I'm sorry for getting back to this so late, I meant to follow up immediately, but some things kept popping up and I kept putting it off and forgot about it for a while.
I understand that Onslaught being creepy is completely intentional, however it still feels a bit forced here to me. Maybe it will do better in full context, but it kinda makes it a little harder for me to take him seriously as a military brute, maybe it's because he's doing it in the middle of a battle, I don't know.
I get the comparison to Knockout, but Knockout was shown to have an interest in earth vehicles, plus he was also doing it to taunt Optimus revealing he recognized him. We don't have full context of Onslaught's character here, so maybe it will feel more natural once the full movie is finished.
You're right they only say the word surrender once (I probably should have worded that differently). I moreso meant the amount of times the cons taunt the autobots to surrender and die, or give up and die, or something like that feels a bit excessive and repetitive. Onslaught offers Arcee a chance to join him which she refuses, but then at 5:15 he tells her to step aside if she wants to live. These lines being so close together feel really repetitive, (not to mention why was he even offering to spare her when he'd already decided to kill her?). At 6:20 Brawl taunts Bulkhead to "give it up!" to be honest this one doesn't bother me that much, but it's another case where it feels like the cons are repeating the same speech or something, though in this case at least I can buy that Brawl would probably say that to Bulk, but it technically does add to the number of times they tell the bots to give up. Of course then there's Onsluaght's "Surrender now at 8:20, which is immediately followed by Vortex telling them to throw down their weapons. That's a total of 5 times in the span of about 5 minutes, so it can feel repetitive hearing characters say essentially the same thing over and over.
There are also a few times where characters use the taunt "I'll teach you some manners" or something close to that, not as many but it still kinda feels a bit repetitive.
So I hope this helps explain what my criticism was a bit better, again still really excited for this project, and hope to join the team someday.
I'm a huge Transformers Prime fan and I say you're doing an excellent job with this. Can't wait to see the rendered version of this. Keep up the good work.

It really has the feel of the show and the voice work is on point. The effort on screen is very admirable. I’ve been waiting to see this project for so long, I practically grew up waiting for it.

Those lines are terrible for Onslaught. The dialogue denigrate Arcee’s character in a very unpleasant way. Also, Onslaught sounds kind of out of character saying them. The Onslaught from FOC sounds more like a team leader that has a brutish voice rather than just a brute. I think Onslaught could’ve said something different to Arcee like: “You Autobots are nothing without a leader” or “Not so tough without a Prime, huh?” or “So you’re the Autobots who defeated Megatron. How pathetic.” Or mock her by telling her something about Cliffjumper or Tailgate and how she always looses partners. Arcee is really well known for that and Onslaught is all about keeping the team together, no man left behind kind of attitude. Idk man the curves thing doesn’t land very well for me.
Aside from that, the part where Springer comes in is very in character for him. He has that Han Solo vibe that the G1 Springer had.
Just keep in mind, we aren't taking anything other than the prime show into consideration. New character are being done based on my view and how the story flows :)

Great scene! It's all really coming together now! I love how the animation has progressed and the story/script is sound. I really like the portrayal of the Combaticons here. It's true to the source material; an elite squadron led under the tactical brilliance of Onslaught and all formidable warriors; both individually and as a unit. I also like how they have the Autobots constantly on the ropes, come so close to killing them and only combine into Bruticus when the tide has turned against them.
Can't wait to see Bruticus take on Galvatron and his minions!

@Prime Animations Although I mostly agree with this statement, it didn't actually feel like the Combaticons were on the ropes of the battle. Now if Magnus and the others actually started trading blows with them, and THEN they Combine, it would feel more natural. But then again, most people following this project probably don't see it that way, so take it with a grain of salt.

@@PrimeAnimationsOfficial For this scene, I feel like more could've been added to make it even better. Not sure if you will take this suggestion into account, but I feel like if Ultra Magnus Knockout and Smokescreen actually did some fighting and back the Combaticons into a corner, it would force them to merge into Bruticus to deal with the autobots, thus making a more compelling scene. It wouldn't have to be a long battle, just showing like a 5-10 second clip of the Autobots gaining the upper hand would be enough to make the combining of Bruticus more convincing.

Animation and rigging are pretty impressive, but the writing really could’ve used a few more passes. The voice cast do an admirable job with the material though.

Yes based on the exodus book, the writer managed to link the games and the show.
In our case, we only took a visual inspiration on the design of the characters but we are not taking anything outside of the actual show, into the story itself.
Meaning, our story is based solely on the events that took place on the Prime show. :)
