  • Korea is full of cults, and it's very easy to get to one there. So no wonder there are plenty of documentaries about Korean cults. They are not only trying to lure Korean netizens but also foreigners, so there are many articles and videos about how to avoid these cults and not get into their traps. So as it's so common in South Korea, it's no surprise that many Korean celebrities got involved in scandals for allegedly being a part of the cult.

From my experience, no cult member will ever openly admit they are part of a cult. So, of course they're all going to deny it. Lol.

Well, there are a lot of rumors that Lee Dong Wook's rumored ex girlfriend (popular actress and his co-star) is a member of a cult. So, it's not a stretch to wonder if he is too.

Most of the time the members of the cult are unaware of what's happening they might have not known about the cult

Truth is they mightve not known i mean look from their perspective will u be so eager to be a part of an alleged cult and destory your own reputation knowing very well that in ur country reputation and public image matters the most i dont think so they mightve not known( idk abt the jms guy )

For jms the remaining members they always try to hide their leaders wrong doings to other people , then they went on and try to recruit new members so they might have not know about the jms wrong doings before this and for the dkz case he was born in the cult family history family was involved in the cult so he never knew about the wrong doings untill recently for kids born in cult families it's hard for them to exit the cult as they have no way known

A small religious group that is not part of a larger and more accepted religion and that has beliefs regarded by many people as extreme or dangerous.

Prayers asking for healing and deliverance from GOD is core christian principle ( may sound weird to other people) but its truth.

True. But to the world where it is not normal, it would be considered as cult.

@@user-ju7ob6dz8xbecause praying to god is different from cult normally people pray to god when they are ill still takes medicine some micht disagree to take medicine but most people of the time its their own wish but if its a cult the leader will specifically order the followers not to take medicine rather go to the church of that father/pastor for treatment the leader might say medical science is a form if devil so the followrs stop taking medication and some die in the church because of the father

You are right, but Christianity doesn't advise you, not to go to the doctor if you are ill.
In Christianity the priest is the soul doctor, the medicine doctor should be taking care of your body.
Because ill people suffer and for a severe stress, praying can be/is the way, to gain the inner power, to continue the battle with the disease.

@@mona.cabocmona303 no religion teach you these things it's either the cults which teaches them this or people rejecting to go to doctor from their own will (Not involving any cult)

Praying is one thing, however, these people who pretend to actually heal and perform wonders, are charlatans. This is not a normal thing. Maybe in shamanism, but not in contemporary Christianity.
