I made a macro to press D for mapping, but always forget to turn it off. So i jam the D key with a piece of paper, easier to remember. So that's 2 ways to not sacrifice damage
@@BahamGG I HIGHLY recommend to instead go automation - detonate mines. The "walk to detonate" mastery feels so bad since you cant detonate while standing still :)

how does it compare with hexblast mines sabo? I haven't tried either and I am trying to decide which one is best. I can even find power charge stacker for hexblast sabo which has a ton of dps. how do those builds scale in terms of defences too?
@@MJ-vt6ks I am prob not the best person to ask as I am now a casual dad gamer. I mostly did delirum and invitation farming on normal bosses. Never bothered trying Ubers. I followed the max roll guide and progressed the gear to the end of progression.

The hardest part on SSF will probably be to get the heatshiver. The other 2 uniques are pretty common. Taste of hate can also take a while but isn't needed for the build, just a good phys taken as. The rares are all pretty basic crafts, so yes, I think it will work pretty great for SSF!
Think I am gonna try this, thanks for the vid! Does the recovery from Polymath actually apply since we are killing with mines? I know that for traps it only applies if you are killing with dot.

Nice video, saw the craftion one aswell!! Im planning next league start already and will try this one. My question is: Could it be used to farm shapers early on the league? I know some other builds like hex are better for bossing, but i like the speed of this one and do some maps when bored of shaper, or invest a lot into it and make a super fast uber shaper farmer in the end, or a fast mapper with lots of dps(unlike some strict mappers or bossers, i would love one that excels in both with investment). But im a bit afraid that would be too hard to scale some dmg on day 2 or 3 to be able to kill shaper and dont take forever to do it. What could you say to me about this? Thanks in advance, subb!
It can do shaper/elder/sirus guardian on day 2 with some ok gear. You have to keep in mind to have higher level of exsanguinate will help a lot. IE: level 21 exsanguinate asap and weapon/shield amulet wiht +1 or +2. I was running guardians on day 2 but I had played 15hours already when I got there. Depends on how much time you put into the game tbh

Hey, had fun putting the build together! 1. You can do that if you want, I just prefer making the guide without having to respect before maps. 2. On the 5 link, you can remove trap and mine damage until you get a 6link

@@korpdani Dont do that. Explosive Trap isnt some amazing uber killer, its decently good but don't get trapped into this build. Explosive Trap suffers from mana problems but there is solutions just will be annoying until you get that fixed and will be something you have to keep in mind anytime you get upgrades/change gear.

It is super good for ritual but extremely bad for ultimatum. This build is kinda squishy. For Ubers you could technically scale the build for it, but there are better builds for that content. The build strength is zooming maps.
Now youve played both Ball lightning trap and Exsang miner, what do you think is the best? Debating which one to play in SSF/Private league. I probably wont be able to scale Ball lightning with power charges any time soon, or get badge/anathema..
Hey man, sorry for being a bit late on the comment, i have been playing this build following a similar guide, and i've reached "endgame" or close to it, My guide has Grace+Hatred+Dread Banner+Summon skitterbots as auras, similar to yours, how did u manage mana for all that? I dont have enlighten lvl 4 YET but i dont think it will make it enough, anyway ty for the content
I don't use dread banner, I use herald of purity instead. I use a small cluster jewel ilvl 84 with mana reservation. Check out my current PoB: pobb.in/FOoH1ovzzAEP
Instead of using CWDT and use automation linked with guard skill AND ALSO detonade, wouldnt this fix the issue about removing LMB since it doesnt require anymore an extra socket? only slight downside would be casting Steelskin off cooldown instead of when getting hit by a heavy blow
Mageblood would of course be BIS. This more of a league starter but it would of course upgrade the build as you could run more damage on your rings and gloves by getting most of your resistance from the mageblood. Heahdhunter not so much, as it is better for attack builds in general
I don't think it is hardcore viable. It can die to big physical hits. Would have to work on getting armor and more physical taken as to be viable. A different build will probably be better for hardcore.
hey im still beginner . can you recommend some stats (on items) what i could look out for while leveling and starting maps ? and a recommented item filter?
For item filter, I am not the best. I just use neversink usually and change it a bit depending on what I need to pick up. For items, you just want to get your res maxed asap and grab some life. Remember to use your benchcraft to add resistance to your gear with an open suffix. I have a whole video on to craft some starter gear with rog. Maybe it can help, have fun!
@@BahamGG aye already found a smoll list with useful stats on the maxroll guide on this build :) was just confused this build doesn't need offensiv stats at first ;) was used from rf build like adding fire dmg stuff later on.. Also I find it usefull to know what mainstats are needed for the basic the s at max to aim for this around the first maps. Also quiet interesting your pob doesn't use the same leveling spells ;)
I really like this build! I have seen much talk about Hexblast Mine as a Leaguestarter - how does this build compare to that? I never really dabbled in that playstyle.
everything that is zooming thru: heist, boss rushing, expedition, legion, breach, deli mirror, etc. It's a super fast mapper but single target dps comes in a bit later.
oh one more question I had in the POB for gems it says 28 until 5L is when you can switch to exang but what 5 gems would you slot in the 5L?? or rather what would you drop from the 6L setup until you can afford a 6L? @@BahamGG
After seeing patch notes do you think you will play this build again? I’m currently giving it a run on standard ssf since league ssf I have a lot of currency. Feels great once you hit Pyroclast mine but I’m squishy since I haven’t found much great gear for res during campaign. I know that will change though!
Yeah, most of the defense comes the freezing later when you have cold conversion for exanguinate. But in the campaign, you should always try yo max your resists first. Especially next league since we will have added mods to monsters in every zone (league mechanic and cannot skip it). Try to craft resistance on all your gear with open suffixes from your benchcraft. @@BahamGG I can’t believe I’ve never tried a miner, maybe I have and don’t remember but it feels pretty smooth. I attached detonate to spacebar to get ahead on the loss of lmb and it doesn’t feel bad. I’m going to keep going and see how exsanguinate feels when I get a 5link but man oh man does trickster feel awesome. An easy 4-5 power/frenzy charge after first lab and it feels zoomy already!!
I’m definitely excited, from the bit of the Live I watched and even the patch notes despite that LMB change everything else sounded awesome. Might even be another league I try a summoner but I definitely want to give a crack at this. I loved KB exsanguinate the league I played that as a gladiator. The mines look awesome too, only gripe I had with the skill is lower investment bossing can feel bad but clearing always felt awesome.
Instant skill in general on left click will no longer exist. But, we have you support gems that might make it even better than it was before. We will have to see, but you can always use the default d button for detonate
Personally I was farming guardian maps on day 2 in affliction. It depends on your overall knowledge of course. I have some guide on how to craft the gear for the build. In scales a lot with gem skill level.
It is similar to playing LA, not super tanky but you kill pretty much everything really quick. Also you freeze everything. It can do Delirium with ease, but this isn't a facetank build at all
how do we deal with degens? i see we take lethe shade but i dont think double the duration while being less dmg ofc is enough on 200 hp regen, i could only think of getting forbidden jewels for pyromaniac which would also fix the ailment avoidance issue but that isnt realistc in league start. any ideas? wot to do against degens. also in the leveling pob you take the small fire dmg node in snowforged instead of the cold dmg one, im sure u didnt mean it, :D Cheers.
Polymath does the trick while mapping for the hp regen. For Pinnacle bosses, ie exarch you can swap 1 or 2 flasks for divine life flasks.Thank you for spotting the small node mistake, it is now fixed:D
you are not stupid at all, the game is extremely complex. Exsanguinate uses life instead of mana. We need some life regen to recover the life cost. Kikazaru gives a good life regen (3 life per level) and 60% reduced Effect of Curses. You could totally get the life regen from somewhere else ie body or belt.

I love this build and i'm inclined to begin this as league starter but how's this build's single target on a low budget? I don't really care about ubers, but i'd like to farm catarina and guardians this league while maintaining a fast pace on mapping. This builds sounds ideal for that but i'm not really sure about the single target in the beginning of the league. Cudos, my dude
I was doing guardians on day 2 last league with the build. It isn't insta kills for sure but you definitively kill them quick enough with early mapping gear.
No I didn't, I do not enjoy sanctum personally. The build should be fine since you can throw mines from a disctance and keep moving to dodge traps/attacks
I don't like to talk about prices in general, because prices change a lot. But the build uses easy rare crafts and 3 really cheap uniques. The hype about the build might change the prices, but the uniques are still really common.
Hi! Have you tested some cases, for example nodes, where u cannot chill and freeze? Hence, logbooks farming will be not really good at start in relatively cheap gear?
Yes, try to skip those remnants as they cut down your dps by a lot. Just like cold immunity, you have to double check for the mod. If you do this you will be just fine

@cumbainer9722 it is exactly what I am going to do if I don't find any other league starter. With the changes to veiled chaos orb, crafting with Rog will be better even more profitable imo.
@@cumbainer9722 the biggest spikes comes from the replica dragonfang's flight. Aside of that everything is extremely cheap. Once you get the amulet you can easily farm them. Before the amulet it might take a while, but still doable. I will make a small update video on the build in the coming days.
Hey when poor and in t16s with the large and 1 med cluster, what’s the best way to up defense. I’m only level 91 so tht might be the issue but I get 1 tapped so quick if I’m not suuupper careful. Character is Madiq_SoSamal and public if interested. Nice build man.
2 things you can aim for either levels or currency. Damage is your main defense as you freeze everything at some point. I have a video on the best exp in the game right now.
I really really wanted to play this build for league start, normally not a fan of shadows, specially tricksters, but I liked the look of the play style. So been testing this out before actual league start, its "Okay", relatively smooth-ish, but can get a bit glassy at times. you are making trade offs for having no tree resistances and lack of stats. it can be a pain to keep up resists and having gems leveled high enough to be usable. so starting this for a league starter can be frustrating. also not moving to a skill until you get to a 5 link means you will be leveling a LOT of gems in your weapon swaps. at level 65 now and still no 5Ls, and trading for one day 1-2 will not be fun, easy, or affordable. making one will take much longer as you are going wait until T12 maps. you MIGHT get lucky and have one drop before then, but you can not count on this. have 2 (quality 20) armors with 6 sockets, but have gone through nearly 60 fusings hoping to hit just 5L. other build I tested you can 4 link all the way to ubers with meh" gear, less stat struggling, easy resists built in, and clear speed is about the same as this one. and from lvl 28-till 5L its about twice as fast.
Ah☹️ It is sad you didn't have a great experience. Personally, it was a breeze for me last league. I got a 5link from heist before finishing the campaign. If the build is not for you, it's ok I won't be mad, don't worry 😉. Hope you find a build that fits you better. Have a great league start and have fun
@@BahamGG Sadly they're not overreacting. The only reason a lot of people played mine was the LMB tech, without that it's not as fun to play. Obviously it's a matter of preference, but trust me, most people wouldnt play mines without at least one way to auto detonate when mapping.
Pls Pls Pls anyone... Why he do have the Kikazaru Topaz Ring ? I simply can not figure it out :( there better rings exept if you wanna reduce cursing, but you dont self curse or do you ?
You need life regen somewhere, kikazaru is the easiest fix. It could also come from your belt of body armour. Kikazaru is extremely common and fix that life spending from exanguinate in 1 item. Hope this helps.
It could, but there are way better build for ubers. If you start with this I would suggest switching to a more bossing trickster than this. The build excels at fast clearing, not so much single target dps.
There is no fixed price, but it is using 3 cheap uniques. I also have a guide 2 guides on how to craft some of the gear. I was running guardian maps on day 2 with a 1 divine budget.

We only know how they work on level 1 yet, so I really can't tell yet. I am still trying new stuff everyday, to find the perfect league starter. I don't think it will be too bad thought even without left click option. since it is pretty much a 1 button build anyway

Instead, they now grant +5% to Maximum Resistance of their respective Element. They also now provide +40% to their respective Resistance (previously 50%). These changes affect existing versions of these items."
@@elminster298 oh yeah I've talked about that change on a previous video. But the mod on taste of hate itself is: (10-15)% of Physical Damage from Hits taken as Cold Damage during Effect. That line didn't change and is the main reason why we are using this flask
you just put detonate on D I actually hated left click to detonate on miner personally. You will get used to D quickly and feels better when u need to stack mines
Looks interesting but when I see that you put taste of hate or +1 ammy/weapon in your "starting maps" setup that's a big red flag. Did you not state you tested that in SSF? Thats even more sus.

I mean I get where you are going, farm on day 1 then craft and switch to exsang on day 2 but you really didn't state enough that you won't start maps with exsang mines probably. We cannot use Cold Iron point because we convert all physical damage into cold damage. It will make our damage 0 from the line: Deal no Elemental Damage

But people choosing to play traps at league start equal to the bankers and supermarket CEO's of the real world. And they are choosing to be, choosing to play a skill that is broken when it comes to investment, playstyle as well as damage, in order to abuse early game economy ; and make their money on the back of players that don't pick overpowered archetypes. It's not about it being a game, it's about justice and honor (which these people have none of) Tell these people to go league start with traps and mines in SSF ; see what they say to that.
hi, i`m starting the league 2 months later and and loving the build so far, my first time playing mines or trap. but I'd like to know whats the point in using dread Banner with Generosity since it wont affect me?
It's just another layer of defence for mapping. Later down the road you can charge the aura for more dps. The generosity part is only to make the minus accuracy on enemies better. That part will still work. We are not using the impale (which would be negated by generosity), hope this helps. Have fun

I didn't test it. The cool thing about exsaguinate is that it doesn't travel around. It just instantly hit, such a good QoL

The regen only works from kills with frostblink or shield charge.

It should be good because you can zone out most attacks and keep moving around. Personally, I don't enjoy sanctum, so I didn't do any.

I want to start on your build, but what about EHP and survivability?
The Pob Numbers are low... but you have freezing everything. Pretty much Offense is your best defense. Also Polymath (from trickster) helps a lot.

Why would I take Swift Killer for my first ascendancy? Is there someway you generate frenzy charges that I don't see?
Charged mine support: (20-30)% chance to gain a Frenzy Charge when a Mine from Supported

Interesing idea, I personally didn't test it. It could boost single target dps. I'd be happy to hear how it goes if you test it out!

Both are really good league starters imo. I think this build is a better mapper while shrapnel is a better bosser.

For SSF 100% exsanguinate mine! The ball lightning trap build requires a bunch of uniques. also the exsanguinate mine comes online way faster.
the only item which might take some time to get is Heatshiver. The replica dragonfang's flight is almost impossible as it is with any RDfF in SSF

Mageblood would of course be BIS. This more of a league starter but it would of course upgrade the build as you could run more damage on your rings and gloves by getting most of your resistance from the mageblood. Heahdhunter not so much, as it is better for attack builds in general

I don't think it is hardcore viable. It can die to big physical hits. Would have to work on getting armor and more physical taken as to be viable. A different build will probably be better for hardcore.

For item filter, I am not the best. I just use neversink usually and change it a bit depending on what I need to pick up. For items, you just want to get your res maxed asap and grab some life. Remember to use your benchcraft to add resistance to your gear with an open suffix. I have a whole video on to craft some starter gear with rog. Maybe it can help, have fun!

Also I find it usefull to know what mainstats are needed for the basic the s at max to aim for this around the first maps. Also quiet interesting your pob doesn't use the same leveling spells ;)

Both are pretty good imo. Hexblast mine is better for bosses while this has better clear.

everything that is zooming thru: heist, boss rushing, expedition, legion, breach, deli mirror, etc. It's a super fast mapper but single target dps comes in a bit later.

After seeing patch notes do you think you will play this build again? I’m currently giving it a run on standard ssf since league ssf I have a lot of currency. Feels great once you hit Pyroclast mine but I’m squishy since I haven’t found much great gear for res during campaign. I know that will change though!
Yeah, most of the defense comes the freezing later when you have cold conversion for exanguinate. But in the campaign, you should always try yo max your resists first. Especially next league since we will have added mods to monsters in every zone (league mechanic and cannot skip it).
Try to craft resistance on all your gear with open suffixes from your benchcraft. Hope this helps and good luck.

@@BahamGG I can’t believe I’ve never tried a miner, maybe I have and don’t remember but it feels pretty smooth. I attached detonate to spacebar to get ahead on the loss of lmb and it doesn’t feel bad. I’m going to keep going and see how exsanguinate feels when I get a 5link but man oh man does trickster feel awesome. An easy 4-5 power/frenzy charge after first lab and it feels zoomy already!!
I’m definitely excited, from the bit of the Live I watched and even the patch notes despite that LMB change everything else sounded awesome. Might even be another league I try a summoner but I definitely want to give a crack at this. I loved KB exsanguinate the league I played that as a gladiator. The mines look awesome too, only gripe I had with the skill is lower investment bossing can feel bad but clearing always felt awesome.
@@inf3rion yeah single target dps early on is hard. With a few investement it can deal with every non-uber pretty easy

Instant skill in general on left click will no longer exist. But, we have you support gems that might make it even better than it was before. We will have to see, but you can always use the default d button for detonate

Hello, how is this with guardians inviations farming?
Personally I was farming guardian maps on day 2 in affliction. It depends on your overall knowledge of course. I have some guide on how to craft the gear for the build. In scales a lot with gem skill level.
Is this build a glass canon or does it have solid defense layers for juiced maps?
It is similar to playing LA, not super tanky but you kill pretty much everything really quick. Also you freeze everything. It can do Delirium with ease, but this isn't a facetank build at all

how do we deal with degens? i see we take lethe shade but i dont think double the duration while being less dmg ofc is enough on 200 hp regen, i could only think of getting forbidden jewels for pyromaniac which would also fix the ailment avoidance issue but that isnt realistc in league start. any ideas? wot to do against degens. also in the leveling pob you take the small fire dmg node in snowforged instead of the cold dmg one, im sure u didnt mean it, :D Cheers.
Polymath does the trick while mapping for the hp regen. For Pinnacle bosses, ie exarch you can swap 1 or 2 flasks for divine life flasks.Thank you for spotting the small node mistake, it is now fixed:D

you are not stupid at all, the game is extremely complex. Exsanguinate uses life instead of mana. We need some life regen to recover the life cost. Kikazaru gives a good life regen (3 life per level) and 60% reduced Effect of Curses. You could totally get the life regen from somewhere else ie body or belt.

I love this build and i'm inclined to begin this as league starter but how's this build's single target on a low budget? I don't really care about ubers, but i'd like to farm catarina and guardians this league while maintaining a fast pace on mapping. This builds sounds ideal for that but i'm not really sure about the single target in the beginning of the league. Cudos, my dude
I was doing guardians on day 2 last league with the build. It isn't insta kills for sure but you definitively kill them quick enough with early mapping gear.

No I didn't, I do not enjoy sanctum personally. The build should be fine since you can throw mines from a disctance and keep moving to dodge traps/attacks

I don't like to talk about prices in general, because prices change a lot. But the build uses easy rare crafts and 3 really cheap uniques. The hype about the build might change the prices, but the uniques are still really common.

In theory it should work as you can just zone monsters. Personally I don't enjoy sanctum so I didn't test it there at all.

Yes, it also works. Personally, I just prefer trickster ascendancy. Saboteur has blind which is a good layer of defense. Both have their upsides.

Yes, try to skip those remnants as they cut down your dps by a lot. Just like cold immunity, you have to double check for the mod. If you do this you will be just fine

@@cumbainer9722 the biggest spikes comes from the replica dragonfang's flight. Aside of that everything is extremely cheap. Once you get the amulet you can easily farm them. Before the amulet it might take a while, but still doable. I will make a small update video on the build in the coming days.

Rolling magma 1 to 12, Lightnining trap 13 to 27, 28 switch to pyroclast mine until you find a 5link. Then you swap to exsanguinate.
How do you get 8 frenzy on video? On PoB you have only 7...
On the video I had a Hrimsorrow with a +1 frenzy charge corrupted implicit.
Hey when poor and in t16s with the large and 1 med cluster, what’s the best way to up defense. I’m only level 91 so tht might be the issue but I get 1 tapped so quick if I’m not suuupper careful. Character is Madiq_SoSamal and public if interested. Nice build man.
2 things you can aim for either levels or currency. Damage is your main defense as you freeze everything at some point. I have a video on the best exp in the game right now.
Do you use chain support for mapping?
Early on in the league I did. I quickly swapped to empower level 4

I really really wanted to play this build for league start, normally not a fan of shadows, specially tricksters, but I liked the look of the play style.
So been testing this out before actual league start, its "Okay", relatively smooth-ish, but can get a bit glassy at times. you are making trade offs for having no tree resistances and lack of stats. it can be a pain to keep up resists and having gems leveled high enough to be usable. so starting this for a league starter can be frustrating.
also not moving to a skill until you get to a 5 link means you will be leveling a LOT of gems in your weapon swaps. at level 65 now and still no 5Ls, and trading for one day 1-2 will not be fun, easy, or affordable. making one will take much longer as you are going wait until T12 maps. you MIGHT get lucky and have one drop before then, but you can not count on this. have 2 (quality 20) armors with 6 sockets, but have gone through nearly 60 fusings hoping to hit just 5L.
other build I tested you can 4 link all the way to ubers with meh" gear, less stat struggling, easy resists built in, and clear speed is about the same as this one. and from lvl 28-till 5L its about twice as fast.
Ah☹️ It is sad you didn't have a great experience. Personally, it was a breeze for me last league. I got a 5link from heist before finishing the campaign. If the build is not for you, it's ok I won't be mad, don't worry 😉. Hope you find a build that fits you better. Have a great league start and have fun

Not at my current state. I could technically push it to Ubers, but I think you are better off with another build. This build excels at speed mapping.

I think most people are overacting to the change tbh, you don't need an auto hotkey script. You can still use d as default to manually detonate
@@BahamGG Sadly they're not overreacting. The only reason a lot of people played mine was the LMB tech, without that it's not as fun to play. Obviously it's a matter of preference, but trust me, most people wouldnt play mines without at least one way to auto detonate when mapping.

Both are kinda squishy. Hexblast has more single target dps while exanguinate has more clear speed.

You need life regen somewhere, kikazaru is the easiest fix. It could also come from your belt of body armour. Kikazaru is extremely common and fix that life spending from exanguinate in 1 item. Hope this helps.

It could, but there are way better build for ubers. If you start with this I would suggest switching to a more bossing trickster than this. The build excels at fast clearing, not so much single target dps.

We only know how they work on level 1 yet, so I really can't tell yet. I am still trying new stuff everyday, to find the perfect league starter. I don't think it will be too bad thought even without left click option. since it is pretty much a 1 button build anyway

@@elminster298 oh yeah I've talked about that change on a previous video. But the mod on taste of hate itself is: (10-15)% of Physical Damage from Hits taken as Cold Damage during Effect. That line didn't change and is the main reason why we are using this flask

Looks interesting but when I see that you put taste of hate or +1 ammy/weapon in your "starting maps" setup that's a big red flag. Did you not state you tested that in SSF? Thats even more sus.

I mean I get where you are going, farm on day 1 then craft and switch to exsang on day 2 but you really didn't state enough that you won't start maps with exsang mines probably. It's just another layer of defence for mapping. Later down the road you can charge the aura for more dps. The generosity part is only to make the minus accuracy on enemies better. That part will still work. We are not using the impale (which would be negated by generosity), hope this helps. Have fun
