When can we get back on the water? Missing skiing so much & boarding
Very exciting sport to watch.i like comparing the amount of water thrown between water skiers and surfers.think the water skier wins.possibly because skis are a lot thinner than surfboards and they can really dig that rail in.
I’m a grandma but I still love to ski!! Been skiing since 6 yrs old, Daddy wanted me to be the next Kristi Overton, LOL!!

Hi I am 15 years old and have been skiing for a while now. I am at the stage where I am getting some good cuts in, however my boat is not a slalom boat and it creates a wake. Any tips?
I'm no pro but I think that that'd help make you a stronger skier. You have to work extra hard to get there. I used to have a Sea Ray until about one or two weeks ago we got a Mastercraft but yeah it's a huge difference. I had to get used to the new wake.
A big wake is no fun and my daughter complains about the big wake behind our boat. We stopped complaining about the wake after watching a video of a girl going back and forth through a huge wake with almost no trouble at all... The only real remedy is trading in your non ski boat in for a water ski tournament boat. It doesn't have to be a new one. Used boats still work.
Look for your local Waterski club or USA Wasterski tournaments and clinics. You might also find a college that you can ski with on their tournaments on their B team.
Keep ridin that wake. It'll make you have better control when you have a propper ski boat. I did when i was young nowt i can handle most wake skiing.
