Cruiselines have already released itineraries at least a year in advance of sailing, so while some intermediate stops may be changed, the embarkation and debarkation ports may remain the same.
I did see an article where there are fewer people flying into some of the Greek islands due to overtourism.

Yes, the protesters want it. But what about all of the businesses and people who are dependent on these Cruise ships doing business with them. Spain and other ports around the world need to decide if they want to lose the money or not. This is why cruise lines are working on their own private islands. In the next few years, the cruise lines are going to slow down just because of economic instability outside of the USA! Then when all of these cities and port loss their revenue. They will want it back. But the cruise lines will have huge Investments in their own locations. So, these cities and ports will be out!
