Word of the day: as you can see I use my first name twice in a row. 😅 It's because I was named after Kris Kristofferson. A singer/actor. I didn't think of it much as a kid but as I got older I realized how extremely disturbing it was to be named after my mother's celebrity crush and when I confronted her back when I was a teenager she was very defensive, "You don't know what that man means to me!" With tears in her eyes. I was shocked responding, "BUT I'm a completely different person and your child!" 😂

@@heytherejessiehere This name has a lot more baggage to it but I was running from my name for years, using a gamer name "Miller" instead. Until my therapist helped me out by saying, "you're not running from your name, you're running from yourself." It's been a long track back but I'm getting around to accepting it. I dug "Kris" out of hiding for myself and all to see now. It IS me. I've always liked the actor I was named after TBH, 🤣 Im not a country music person but I enjoy his acting, and thank you, I'll take your compliment of KrisKris sounding cute. It's very fitting. I have a huge sense of humor and do enjoy the little "cute" things in life. 😊 So to answer your question, yes, I do like my name today and it keeps growing. 😅 Sorry for the short story kinda answer. I could write a whole book on the subject, 🤣 full of upsets, adventures, and jokes with this name. But I'll leave it here. Thanks for diving in with me about my name Bessie... I ALMOST called you Jesse. "Ug, Sorry!"🤣 I'd like to hear about your name sometime. It sounds like nobility 🫡🤩🤍💫🖤
