All this kit and there’ll be a SF guys with these marines, in a t shirt, a cap, a pair of sunglasses and his gun, that’s all you need.
It’s almost like we never moved on from 2009 and started supplying our special forces with high-tec gear as well before the Royal Marines.
@@kryn it's not about that, they have all the tech they want, I've seen SF guys closely and they are very practical, they don't get overly kitted out like infantry men and marines,unless it's a very special OP.

@@Bullet-Tooth-Tony- haha I see you everywhere mate. I see it being China too. I reckon it will be similar to the pacific war of WW2 with island hopping and jungle warfare. Though I can’t say where it would be. Maybe we would support the Indians but attacking through the mountains to China would be too costly. We might help defend south east Asia from Chinese attack I could see that happening.

Good for you lads. Personally, I'd recommend working a normal job for a bit, then you'll have something to compare the Corps to when it's shit, and it will be shit at times, but it's still an amazing life over all.

If it saves using the helicopters for resupply of rations, ammo and light equipment etc could be good. Be interesting to see how this develops forward. I remember when the yanks where throwing small powered drones into the air back in 2004/2005 fascinating to see how that evolved over the years.

Royal Marines I know you probably won't see this and if you do you'll ignore it but I'm 15 and aspire to join the royal marine commandos when im 17 or 18, the commandos on the front line series you did years ago really helped put things in perspective for not just me but for every other 15 who is aspiring to join too. After watching it I am confident this is what I want to do, but it is obviously outdated as we are no longer in a big war over in the middle east so I know it's a big ask but another series or documentary that is updated would really be useful! I know maybe the training hasn't differed much but other places in the world that royal marines are being deployed to and all the new technology I know there's a lot for me and others to learn. Thanks :)

Perhaps any future enemy will quickly come up with a laser guided weapon to blow those small drones out of the sky. Maybe the limitation on the practical success of small drone equipment is the ceiling that they can operate at.
