No one will ever take Ty place a once in a life time love like Amy and Ty had only comes once in a life . Writers need to leave it alone stop trying to set Amy up .
The only way Amy's character will grow is for her to meet somebody that challenges her. If Amy's character doesn't grow, then the show will dry up. We were all Ty fans, but Graham left the show. If you want the show to survive, then move on. If you don't, then keep soliciting negativity because Graham decided to quit.
@@deans178 This has nothing to do with Graham's departure! He moved onto something his heart wanted to do! Good for him and thank you Graham for being the best actor on Heartland for 13 seasons! Without you this show would have lasted 3 years max! This has all to do that knowing Graham was leaving(2 years notice) the writers should have ended Heartland at the end of season 13 on a happy note. With Amy/Ty/Lyndy moving into there new home with the wild horses roaming past there home and Lyndy swinging on the swing her dad made for her! It was that simple! True Heartland fans would have been happy. All good shows can come to an end, nothing wrong with that! But know the money hungriest Michelle Chris & Amber say hey let's turn it into a adult soap opera which will attract the soap fanatics and they will be happy, as it is no longer a Family show & we will be happy as it's money in our pocket! And who cares that it no longer has a true storyline! Heck we even will have Amy start dating a guy 8 years older than she is. That is what the soapies really like! The moment the story was no longer about Amy& Ty is when the true story died! Just saying Marleen(soap president)!!! 😂😂

Thanks for posting! This was being teased everywhere and initially I thought "Oh hell no!!!" I've never been a fan of Caleb. Because of how he has been in the past. I didn't even like him as a kid while reading the books. But seeing this scene, I don't hate it. I do think it makes sense. He could become a better man for someone like Amy. And I do think it's important to show the ability to love again after such a loss.

I can’t say I recall for certain and I did not read all of them either, but from what I remember, Caleb doesn’t last long. He pops in the books and pops out. Pretty sure he was probably getting in the way of Amy and Ty, thus why I hated him in the books anyway 😅
While I loved Ty, it’s unrealistic to think that some one as young as Amy would never remarry for the rest of her life. What if she wants to have another child. What if she wants someone to grow old with. There is nothing wrong with her finding love again. As to the actor who played Ty, it was his choice to leave. So you can’t blame that on the writers. That had nothing to do with the show. Caleb is sweet, but just a friend. I think Nathan would be a great choice for Amy. I don’t understand why people want her to be alone. She deserves to find love again. It won’t be the same as what she had with Ty, it will be different and that’s ok.
It's one thing for Amy to move forward and to move on. But ERASING TY FROM HEARTLAND, A CHARACTER FROM THE SHOW FOR 13YEARS. NEARLY NON-EXISTENT IN JUST 3 YEARS. His daughter still deserves to hear things about him. TY'S MOM STILL DESERVES the right to visit her Granddaughter. Amy doesn't have anything to do with the TY Borden Equestrian Youth Center anymore. Amy doesn't talk to the Moon as if talking to TY anymore. Amy doesn't have episode clips memory Flashbacks anymore, she stopped that in Season 15. Amy hardly even thinks of Ty. LYNDY doesn't mention Daddy. Ty doesn't hardly exist. Jack even DISSED TY BORDEN on the Family Cattle Drive in Season 17. Jack said that the Bartlett Fleming Morris Clan will never go down without a fight. Shouldn't Jack have said that the Bartlett Fleming Morris Borden Clan will never go down without a fight??? Or did Lyndy Marion Borden have her name changed to Fleming???
