- A tribute to fraternal twins Robin and Maurice Gibb through the years. They may not have always felt or seemed like twins but it's a special bond. I don't think Robin ever got over Maurice's death, so I hope they are now together again somewhere.

Three beloved brothers who just wanted to sing, and sing they did... Ironically, I came across this video today on the anniversary of Robin's passing. They were the best of the best, back then, now, and probably forever. and I'm grateful to have been part of this era of genius music and musicians...

I know their bond---I'm a triplet. That telepathic thing between multiples is really true. I believe a part of Robin really did die after Maurice passed. I really miss them! The Bee Gees will NEVER die!!! They are too much a part of all of us!!!
All all four of them had a bond but the three brothers The Bee Gees I had a stronger Bond because Andy was had his own career solo artist that's what he wanted I believe that if they had gotten regular doctors appointments and tests earlier on neither one of them would be dead now and I hope Barry's getting tested to make sure he's okay but he said on one interview on the CZcams that he was he was okay just fine so I hope and pray I pray for him all the time and I really miss some Robin Maurice and Andy I miss his parents and I pray for b a r r y s family Robin's family Maurice's family and Andy's family I pray for them all and God bless them all

@@rosalindsey6841 They had a bond as brothers, just like any siblings. I agree that The Bee Gees bond was probably stronger because they had worked together since childhood. Regarding the twins bond, Barry has stated that he did not share that bond. He said he was outside of that loop. Barry spoke about the twins always secretly chatting, but he felt left out. “They were twins, different committee.” Barry tried to create a twin bond with Andy, but the bond that twins share cannot be created, it just is. Mo’s death gutted Robin. He never recovered.
I'm a triplet--I know their bond. This was one I just found. It made me cry. Their angelic voices increase how great it is. The words hit me like a truck What a very special song. God gave us the gift of perfection when He gave us the Bee Gees.

I miss them so much! Cry every time I see this,but I love it. My Dad was a fraternal twin. They always had each other until their life was over. Maybe that is one reason I have such love for these two men.

What a wonderful video of the twins. It clearly shows how much they loved each other and how well they got along. Robin doesn't usually show affection, but to Maurice, he has his arm around him a few times. No wonder Robin took Maurice's death so hard. His other half was gone. So sad.
Robin.... DAMN IT... When I see him.... I feel this charge... When I hear him the world stops and nothing else matters... Mo the funny man... the world went dark when he died.. Robin looked so sad after he died... I still love Robin and I will forever...

These 2 are so attuned to each other,the way Robin talked about Mo breaks my heart, when he passed away in2003. Now they are together in heaven. Maybe when it’s our time, we will meet them.

I noticed in this video that Maurice and Robin had the same interaction as in the 1997 One Night Only concert in Las Vegas. Mo puts his hand on Robin’s back, Robin reaches around and takes Mo’s hand. In 1997, it almost looks as though Robin slaps Mo’s hand away, but in this video you can see that they do some kind of a handshake. A true bro moment. How sweet.
Robin not very touchy feely but Maurice is . But Robin is more affectionate with Maurice than even his wife Molly or his kids . I say this from watching lots of videos of Robin. First thing I noticed was Robin is not demonstrative with any one except Maurice.
But he is a kind man just like Maurice. They are very much a part of each other
Robin put his hand behind his back so that Maurice could take it and put it up to his ear - part of the comedy.

I Think he said....I miss Mo, i cant believe he is gone :( when he was dying he talked a lot about him that he missed him😭 and that he and Barry was going to make music together...something like that. I also read idk if its true but some of Maurice ashes was made into 4 gemstones or something and that one of the stones was placed with Robin in the coffin. That made me cry. They both went into this life together and they left together in a way.

My wife got me listening to the Bee Gees. Of course I already knew who they were , having grown up in the 70s and knew their sat night fever album and I was a fan too but I never knew all the stuff they had done before and after that. They were so talented and humble, generally all around wonder gentlemen. Can't say enough good things about them now that I know all I do about them. And very funny! That clip where Robin and Mo were just walking down the street arms around each other, smiling, robin in his big fur coat. Just love the energy they had and love for each other and Barry too. God bless them and I hope their singing in heaven! Hope to meet them 1 day on the other side ❤❤❤

I love them all. Sadly miss Mo and Robin. It's hard to loose a sibling Mo was the most entertainer than the other 2. Robin voice there is no other like it except his son. Love Barry he's another with a unique voice i would know anytime i hear it. Gibb family is truly talented set of musicians ever.

My sentiments exactly. When Maurice died, Robin died too. The only difference is that it took a few more years for the physical effects to take shape. I love them too. Robin is however my favorite.
@@candlelight3232 I remember seeing a photograph of Robin after Maurice's death and and he looked shattered.
@@candlelight3232 He appeared and even said so himself that he was not materially over Maurice's death and still sometimes pretended he was just somewhere else and would call up at any time. That was 9 years so I don't think he would ever have gotten over it. It was so hard to see him age ten years almost overnight. Even while on his own death bed he still spoke of Maurice and how much he wished his twin was there as if the wound was still fresh. Such a sad, sad situation to contemplate.
