Highlight of the Popham Model Show for me ! I like seeing new fun demos like this. In the gusty crosswind this took some skill by Paul to get the helo down and collecting the water in the bucket without it actually colliding with the pool. Then it climbed away and dropped the water. I think they tried to drop it on me but I was ready to jump out of the way !

Chuckled here for a bit. Fly the load a little bump in the direction of swing, the real thing is easier.. That looked fun.
No it wasn't the wind ... External loads do that naturally
He should use like a box as landing gear , with a door to collect water and open for discharge, a box in The center of CG. Good pilot but no good idea.

What? Lmfao this is the most effective way.
They can dump the load if something goes wrong and the bucket being suspended from the heli. They dont have to land on the water which is retarded for a heli to do.
They wouldnt use this system on the real thing if it wasnt the most effective bub.
Is that turbine or electric? Sounds like turbine but spooled up way too quickly
It is electric, there was a turbine trex700 hovering about not far from this one hence you can hear a turbine sound 👍🏻
