- Ah, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, home to many gods, deities and cosmic beings we have all grown to either love or hate. After the events of Thor: Love and Thunder and the God of Thunder’s visit to Omnipotence City, we have met and heard references to more gods than one mere mortal man could possibly count. With most of these characters closelt derived from comic book pages, some of these gods have been interpreted slightly differently in the MCU.
Whether worshiped or tasked with preserving the balance of the universe, all gods are different, most heroic, with some being hellbent on destruction and revenge. Essentially what real world mythology is altered and fashioned in order to fight alongside or against with the likes of Spider-Man and Ironman, there are many who are linked solely to Marvel lore.
Asgardians, Marvel’s interpretation of mythological Norse gods, are for the most part good and wise, such as the Warriors Three, Thor and Odin. Some Asgardians such as Hela, Loki and others, aren’t so friendly. Olympians, of course Marvel’s take on Greek mythos, have been recently introduced as Zeus and Hercules set out to wage war on supers. Of course Egyptian gods, Wakandan gods and Celestials play a major part in MCU lore.

This makes me wonder if Eternity has ever been portrayed as being aware that they are in a comic. It would make since that Eternity would have a "higher consciousness" similar to the one that Deadpool has. Although, I guess that brings up the question of whether or not Infinity Ultron from 'What If' has the same "higher consciousness" too.

You forgot Dormamu. As I understood, Dormamu IS the dark dimension. I also think Surtur would at least deserve to be in the honorable mentions. He is technically not a god, but he did kill Hela along with the rest of Asgard.

even stronger than the 2 and is known to be the creator of the mcu universe and creator of eternity. the one above all is the strongest by far.

I guess since you're only speaking of the cinematic universe, everything you said was on point. But I'd love to see "the one above all" brought into the equation at some point. He's literally the top dog. It may take another 50 movies to get to that tho. They're gonna milk that cow for everything they can get!

But TOAA being in a movie is pointless because there would be no problem or plot that he can’t overcome or solve. So he would add nothing to the movie. Plus once you introduce them it would be hard to take any further movie released serious because you know that they exist.
ultron with all infinity stones is up there with every god on this list, he used the stones better than thanos
ANYONE with all infinity stones would up there with every god on this list if you can withstand its influence. Infinity gaunlet literally grants godlike power and makes you nigh omnipotent
if we're talking non-canon events then Thanos with the infinity stones beats ultron with the infinity stones

I didn't notice this, but that circular symbol on the watchers chest is the same looking symbol that He who remains had on his chest in Loki.

Well we know what his powers are, but as far as the MCU goes we don’t because it isn’t stated. This list is based on what we’ve seen purely based on the MCU and not comics.

Valkyrie and Thanos are not gods but Thanos is a god-like being.

Thanos is the best of them all, not because of the comic logic, but because when thanos was there in mcu, Disney didn’t take over and I doubt Disney would be able to produce any villain as good as thanos.
I think they lined Odin up to become the soul in mjolnir, he didn't die in battle so Odin wouldn't have made it into valhalla
It's so odd that even humans are fighting with the Gods and even giving a tough fight with them(in MCU)
They are false gods. There is only one God in MCU and we all know it's name. The whole Thor franchise is about that how some powerful beings are mistaken as gods.

I don’t wanna be that guy but…shouldn’t the Scarlet Witch have at least gotten an honorable mention😂. I understand she’s not a God persay but she is an incredible powerful nexus being and also has reality warping abilities. I’m quite positive she could kill Gods just as easily as Gorr at her full power.

This list only include the gods that made an appearance in the mcu. We still yet have to see living tribunal. We only saw statues in Dr strange

Wouldn’t kang be the strongest since he writes time? Or atleast be on par with eternity? No one ever mentions him but in loki the put him as a very strong character that could re write anything and everything at anytime.

what if thor is fighting a worthy enemy and he picks and starts using mjolnir in the battle? he basically has thors powers and strenght.. and due to love and thunder we see him not being able to call mjolnir back...

Ghost Rider is underrated
Although not appearing int the MCU, The Living Tribunal (mentioned once in Doctor Strange) is by far the most powerful among all of these deities. Purely based on power hierarchy, The Tribunal ranks second to The One Above All, who is basically the creator of everything.

The Living Tribunal can overrule Eternity if they decide to. And the Beyonder isn't native to the Multiverse, so Eternity has little control over him. Still, good list overall.
this list is for beings that have officially appeared in the movies and did things to some extent (Like talk to different characters or took part in a battle, or even grant things to people). So far, The Living Tribunal has appeared in statue form and fake form. The Beyonder has not even appeared at all in some form (even inanimate) as far as I know. In the comics, they are like that, but movies? Not quite yet.

Kang is a different breed of gigachad. He did ascend to Godhood at some point, but gave it up cause he considered it below him.
