just letting you know that there was no way for you to save hannah and beth. Their deaths are basically just a tutorial for the rest of the game, one you’re guaranteed to lose because hannah and beth have to die for the story to happen.
Also fun fact in case you didn’t/don’t notice, the game is actually set in Canada! I think it’s in Alberta (could be wrong about the province). Look out for official city or government posters in the game, they’ll have both french and english on them.

Emily has always been one of my faves bcs she is an ice queen, baddie! She is mean, but later she grows on you. I love Sam too, she's a survivor coded kinda girlie!

Defending Jess. She made the prank for Em cuz Han is a homewrecker. She's testing Mike's patience to see if he's more than a playboy who wants sex. She has some genuine scenes that were overlooked. And she's actually not a bitch to Matt when they're together. Overall she's a caring person who unintentionally made life altering decisions, and also better than Ashley.
And it's not Jess' fault for ruining Han. Han intentionally ran away into the cold so that Mike will get her and apologise. Literally all the girls want Mike.

During the events of the game she's actually one of the most genuine person + her ending is so touching. We all know who the worst person of the group is...

i hardly ever comment on videos , but since you're playing this, i must say i'd love to see you play detroit become human. is basically the same concept; decision based game where what you do through your gameplay and the desicions you make afects and changes your story outcome in so many ways. and you get to see the path you've had chosen and the many more posibilities at the end of each chapter. i'm pretty sure you're gonna love that one too, hope you give it a try :) btw i love to see this new gamer era ,i'm really enjoying it

Detroit Become Human is SUCH a favorite and a staple, I hope to see it on this channel too someday! The story, the variety of paths, the characters and the development of their relationships are amazing.

A sanatorium is a medical facility. It’s usually in a secluded location where patients can recuperate from illness or receive treatment, especially in the past for tuberculosis or other chronic diseases. It’s used quite often in horror movies that take place in the states.
Loved this play through so far, a bit background info for the characters: Em & Mike were a couple in last years events & it’s rumored that the brake up didn’t end well but it’s not confirmed. As of Em being a “bad friend”, Hannah was actively making moves on Mike even knowing that he’s in a relationship with Em (who we know was Hannah’s friend personally) so in my opinion Emily had every right to be mad at her for making moves on her bf at the time. It’s implied that Hannah was naive and somewhat awkward which could explain her lack of boundaries. Though I did agree the prank went too far I can also see why the group went through with it. It’s also important to note that Jess was the one who orchestrated most of the prank, she wrote letter and justified it by saying she’s looking out for her friend Em. If you didn’t notice, Em & Jess were close friends so when Emily catches wind of Jess getting together with Mike she feels betrayed that her ‘friend’ went for her ex (that’s why she’s so snarky to Jess). In regards to everybody being awful, they are tbh 😭 most of them participated in the prank.
Did I miss something? 😭 I don't remember Hannah in the past making moves on Mike, is it in her diary we find or something? And Em and Hannah were friends? Years later and I'm still finding new stuff. Pls explain if you can /gen
@@yellowroseman4396 Jess states that ‘Hannah has been making moves on him’ (Mike) the night of the prank. Whether it is an exaggeration or not it is clear that Hannah’s liking towards Mike was well known within the group so if she wasn’t making moves on him she wasn’t really hiding it either + she reciprocated meeting with Mike & taking off her shirt. We find clues in her room like the matching survey on the magazine (which ultimately made her get a tattoo), a pic of him on her poster-board, diary entries; which are all typically things pre teen young girls would normally do. This is why I reiterate that Hannah was more on the naive side. As of Em & Hannah being friends, through clues we find a pic of Sam, Hannah, Mike & Em for prom, suggesting they all went together. Since Sam is close with Hannah & Em shown in her status, we can assume Hannah & Em became close through Sam.
While I agree Hannah shouldn't have been trying to get Mike while he was already with Emily, that prank shouldn't have happened at all. Emily should have told Hannah to back the fuck off and if she didn't that's the end of the friendship, end of story. But they are really young so I understand why they dealt with this a bad way.
Also side note Em is a bitch either way. She's rude to EVERYONE.

Second, I want to give you some tips to make your game more easy, completely spoiler free.
Someone already told you but Hannah and Beth were just a tutorial for you to undertand how the game works, their deaths can't be avoided. But however, the rest of the cast is in danger and they can be saved.
Exploring is the best way to find useful items that will help you in the future, one of those items are totems. The totems don't always predict bad things, and even if they do, those bad predictions do not define the future. They can even give you clues on how to proceed in certain situations that will happen eventually.
The game tells you this, but a lot of people forget. So I will tell you that sometimes, doing nothing is the best thing to do. In some choices, if you don't feel comfortable with any of the options that are given to you, you can decide to do nothing, it's completely valid and the game won't punish you for it. After all, the whole idea is for you to be honest and explore your own path. So you don't have to pull the trigger if you don't want to.
And last, if something looks suspicious and you feel like it's a trap, it's probably a trap.

The game is so bad tho considering what year it was made in. Every character didn’t feel human and the animation was so bad at sometimes.

Brad, love your videos and the fact that you're getting into gaming, but I have to tell you. PLEASE LEARN THE CONTROLLER BUTTONS! And I mean, really know them out of instinct. I have played this game in its entirety before and believe me when I tell you that if you thought that the timer goes quickly on quick time events now, then know that they get progressively worse lol. Especially as the game progresses and the situations escalate, these quick time events will require you to know immediately what button to press, only get the chance to process it and then you have to click. Not trying to scare you, just prepare you lmao.
Another quick tip, when you pressed r1 it would bring you to a new screen. You should definitely check that out more. It shows you your relationships with other characters and if you scroll through it, you can see the different butterfly effects that occur and rewatch totems that you collected. It even gives updates on clues such as papers you pick up and updates to help you understand their significance.
Other than that, great video as always. Can't wait for the next one! :)

Ok so as someone who has never seen or played this game I’ve got some predictions:
1. Josh is super weird and I think he is plotting with the killer to take out everyone for revenge on what happened to his sisters.
2. The therapist is also mad weird. I’m pretty sure asking about the fears is just to see how best the game can fuck you up 😭
3. Ok actually that’s it I don’t think I have any other guesses lmao

In Emily’s fairness there is a bit that’s cut out from the game that’s like in an exclusive version where Emily and Matt go off together and she apologises to him about being a bitch and going to Mike and they actually are really cute together 😭😭
In all fairness, i think that the EU digital version of the game has that DLC aready included with the game, so we may see it on Brad's playthrough!!
She treats him so terribly, a cute little moment with them together doesn't make them a good couple. She acts like she thinks he's too dumb for her to talk to like a human. They clearly aren't good together 😂

Hey Brad, I think you should play it with headphones, you missed some important noises. Also, you can access the menu, where you can see all the clues and totems you found by clicking, I think, R1 (I am not sure), and pay attention to the butterfly effect, you can also see it developing and changing in the menu. I love this game and I hope you will too. Love you Brad.

Oh my goooood I was literally thinking the other day about how much I would love for a new Until Dawn reaction since I know most of the older ones by heart cause I love this game so much!! This is perfect!
Just so you know Brad it's pretty important at least I think so, to check the butterfly affect cause it'll clear up some question that you might have also it's good to sometimes choose fast because if you wanna keep all the characters alive you need to be fast especially for some scenes since safe is what is going cause a lot of negative stuff. Also in some scenes you have the choice to NOT shoot when you end up getting a gun just fyi because well.. you might come around to liking Emily at least I hope she's a SMART character to keep around also it's good to keep checking the totems since those are predictions that have a lot of meanings and can help affect the story and get a bit important and also to check how your actions have changed the character and storyline by hitting R1 although I don't think you have trouble with that lol. Someone who did a really good job surprisingly lol was Dylan is in trouble his play through was one of the most successful ones. I LOVE that your playing this and I genuinely hope you have a good time! There's definitely a lot of jumpscares tho just warning ya, anyways love you and your videos :)

Only thing I will say is that all the characters do have their redeeming qualities and, even if you dislike someone now, it's best if you try to get as many people alive to the end as possible because it makes it easiest to survive until dawn because everyone has something that comes in handy.

Also Brad I highley suggest saving Emily in this game but if you want Matt to live try not to choose to save her twice and with Jess the reaction times in which you need to click the shapes are pretty important since the shortcuts and being fast is the only way to save Jess in the future if you don't want her to die. Also you might get a puppy friend! All depending on your actions ofc which you are free to choose. I hope you have a fun time playing! And I love watching your videos and your commentaries never fail to make me laugh lol.

Sorry in advance for the long comment, i just wanted to offer some advice :).
I don't know if ur going into the game wanting to save everyone (or at least the characters u might grow to like 😂), but i'd recommend that u might want to try and get used to the playstation controls a bit first. The reason i say this is cuz those quick time events (QTE's) where u have to press a specific button before the time runs out only get faster & more difficult the further you get into the game.
I played another game by the makers of until dawn on ps4 and got everyone killed cuz i wasn't used to the controls yet. The QTE's were so fast even on easy mode, and i still couldn't keep up lol. Butttt, if u don't care about any of the characters that's cool 😂, i just wanted to mention it cuz it can be frustrating when characters you didn't want to die get killed because of it.
Regardless, i can't wait to see how the story unfolds for u in this game and which ending u get! It's one of my most favourite games of all time, so i can't wait to see u play it out!

I just wanna say (no spoilers!) that the fandom for this game can be a bit intense because they don’t really realize that upon first time playing clues are a bit difficult to find so don’t worry if the comment section is a bit cunty! It is a little difficult to find all the clues and save people and such because it requires looking around quite a bit and the choices can be misleading.
Nevertheless I’m so excited! I love your personality and listening to your thought process!

I could seriously watch you play this entire game in one sitting. It’s always been one of my faves. Also, if you can, try to have multiple saves at different points in the game so if you accidentally cause someone to die that you don’t want to, you can restart from your last save point and choose differently
