2022 told you the tire pressure as well =p
Starting on a smaller bike helps you learn to corner better, because you can't make up your deficiencies with the throttle. That's why you can go to the track and see 600's (and potentially 300s) smoke 1000's all day long. Far too many people end up in guard rails because they never learned how to tackle the biggest hurdle to riding; How to get out of a bad situation while cornering.
