As a past volunteer firefighter this episode was great!! To the officer that said a volunteer isn’t a firefighter cracked me up. It’s all the same training just not paid to protect the community. I loved this!

It’s not a monthly payment, you get paid as a volunteer based on your calls that you respond to, how many trainings you show up to, etc. Volunteer firefighters are in fact paid. Your payment is at the end of the year. Full-time Fire Departments pay monthly and also pay you based on your hours of service and calls that you respond to.

I love this because in the part of Florida I am the volunteers drive marked rigs and are apart of the department legit. And have red lights in their personal vehicles if they don’t have time to grab the legit trucks.
I love the orcp series. This video was so funny. The actual firefighter was so mad at your guys. I like the part where you were at dollar pill and you fell off the roof and you told Ryan and Jeff not to fall off because it hurt.

I am the Chief of Desdemona VFD and I know some will be triggered by this video I think it’s so funny Buggs. Most Volunteers are highly trained and dedicated but I have met these guys meany times throughout my fire fighting days. There is one in every department
I don't know how it works in the US. But in France, when you are a volunteer, you ARE actually a firefighter, hosted in a fire station. You enjoy the use of every fire equipment, trucks, ... of the station based on the event requesting your presence. You have some duty time when you are on call for a period of time, to answer any potential calls.
