I first came across this show when I was living in Mexico at the tender age of just 8 years old. In Mexico we were lucky enough where the show was not modified in the slightest, tomoyos infatuation with Sakura was left intact and same with touya love for yukito. As such, the original soundtrack was left intact as well. Now in 2023 I am 27 years young and I still love this soundtrack and the show very much. Sadly American kids will never know how good this show was unless they watch the original Japanese version or the Mexican version with subtitles. The America version of card captors edited the original story and even changed the soundtrack.

Sakura Card Captors has a soft spot in my heart. It was the first actual show that made me watch it in correct order and getting into the lore. Also, it was the first thing I kinda share with my "first crush" so fuck yeah...I do love this series.
Here in America we have Cardcaptor Sakura on Netflix and I personally hate the Cardcaptors dub with my whole entire heart but anyways I will watch those because we have those things netflix that they mentioned were removed in Cardcaptors and it makes me so sad that people do not know the anime Cardcaptor Sakura exists but I wonder if you guys have the tomoyos diaries segments because I can’t find them anywhere.. I think that’s all we’re missing but please inform me if there’s anything else
In middle to high school I made playlists of all the emotional and beautiful Cardcaptor soundtracks... I thought I was pretty much alone in my appreciation of the OST until in the past four or so years, I've seen such a beautiful devotion to the OSTs on CZcams! It absolutely warms my heart.
I watched all episodes when I was Kid. But today I realised that animation was not for children like me who gets absorbed by such beautiful Animations not knowing that it is just a work of Fiction and not the reality.
I love this anime and always will one of my favorite anime's number one anime on the list. I have so much nostalgia for this show 🥹 and the soundtrack is beautiful.
