Screaming in the night, Wow that's take me back to the 80s all metal kids hanging out on parking lots drinking ,smoking and listen to metal, Best years of my Life!🤘
I saw krokus opening up for Motörhead on fast Eddie Clarkes last show at the N.Y. Palladium on the one vice at a time tour in1982.Marc still has the chops!!!
Interesting.... Didn't know they played at the Palladium then. I was away at school so that's probably why I missed hearing about it. I also missed a few other shows I would have liked to see, like Judas Priest with Iron Maiden as the opening group! Also at the Palladium in 1981.
Great " FUN PARTY MUSIC " haven't heard " stick goes boom " in over 20 yrs. gave me the same feeling of jump-up and dance and feel the music move you sensation I had yrs. ago.... dedicate that song to my close friend and mentor Robert "KIP" Keiper who turned me on to it way back then. R.I.P. Brother see you in Valhalla.....
When headhunter came out I was 13, they are one of my favorites from the eighties. I grew up in such a great time, Priest, ozzy,Dio,Megadeth, ect. Today's music really sux. Long live our heavy metal heroes!
AMEN BROTHER! CLASS OF 1987!!! So I seen these cats n a BUNCH of the "it" metal bands of. " our" day brother and it was GREAT times. Am I right? The girls were plentiful, the herb was cheap, and the bands ROCKED like none before,or any since!!
TRUE Rodney, I'm a little older than you guyz & graduated hi-skool in 1980 & started heavy metal rokin' in my early 20's ( around '81/'82) & the 80's heavy metal is UNTOUCHED in my book......UNTOUCHED !!!!!!!!!!! Iv'e got a pretty big collection of heavy metal lp's from the 80's (about 4000 & about 3500 cd's) probably some stuff you've never heard before that's rite up there with Krokus & NO era in my book will EVER touch th' 80's muzically.......NEVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah hes better, but he has his own band and he refused to tour with AC\DC, once in 80's after Bon's death and second time when Brian left. So AC\DC now got the best what they can get.
I've heard they also prefer to not have a Bon sound alike. I'm not sure Axl is the right fit, but he's a great vocalist, an amazing front man & showman, & the videos I've seen, he sounds better with AC/DC than I expected. He should be given a chance, so I'm trying to approach it with an open mind
I am soooooooo serious Aaron.......HOW, PLEASE tell me HOW could ANYBODY coose that ASSLrose PRICK BASKET CASE over this guy.......Marc Storace PISSES ALL OVER ASSrose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When Krokus first made a splash in North America in the late 70's, there were actually some who thought it WAS Bon . . . and that his "death" was hoax.
Saw these guys in Dublin back '08 opening for Hammerfall.. Pure magnificence. We met Marc Storace after the gig too, great guy. Hope they come back to Ireland again
The guitar work for screaming in the night-29 minute mark is sublime. When he sings "What is wrong and what is right". i get chills. If you've ever played live, you know this feeling well. Thanks for posting this.
been a follower / fan of krokus since the day i hear mr 69 on klos radio in calif. 1980 i think. damn the years go quick. anyway, since then i have seen the band many times in several cities around the states. they were always superb and each album was what i wanted to hear. rarely did they stray fron their signature sound. ( give maybe that change of address era). i never compared them to ac/dc. they were/are their own monster of sound. nowdays i honor anything the band does no matter what it is and cherish the memories and the years of great feelings they gave to me.
also from so cal, and thought long stick goes boom was by ac/dc for a while. had never heard of mark storace being offered the singing gig after bon died before today, and i was a huge ac/dc fan. still a fan, but looking back, i think that they shoulda hung it up after stiff upper lip.
Krokus is a lot like the Scorpions! A kick-Ass band in studio, and the live material is just as great. Most bands when they go live they morph the music into what it isn't and leaves the fans a bit disappointed. Krokus and the Scorps both leave the fans psyched and fully satisfied. Love Krokus, always have and always will. Too bad Mark Storace didn't get the AC/DC gig. He would have been an awesome front man for them.
The rumor back in the day was the managers decided against a tour of the two bands together - AC/DC and Krokus - because of the similarity of the vocalists. Also, when Bon died, one particular Ca DJ reported that Marc Storace was the first choice to replace him, however, Marc at the time believed he had a better future with Krokus. Glad to see Marc and the boys still holding their own.
+Marcelo Power If they want a voice like His.....then YES. If they want to do a tribute over the next few remaining shows then yes, but ACDC With guests. lets have a send off for Brian.
EXACTLY.......Marcelo.........EXACTLY, you have my vote on that one buddy I can't think of anyone that would fit that bill better than Mark Storace, he has got the same kind of vocal power as Brian Johnson.....good choice !!!!!!!
ЧУВАК ! А почему ти только думаешь ? Оно так и есть , ето очень известная ГРУППА . Лично Я ее слушаю вот уже лет 30 - 35 где- то . Ето шикарний HARD ROCK с оттенком звучания AC/DC . 👍👍👍👍 🤝🌍🌏🌎 .
I remember they sounded great live during the Blitz tour, and they still sound great. Anybody else see them in Sacramento with WASP? Way back in the day? Just good time rock & roll, you can't go wrong, right?
i saw them on the blitz tour in san jose at the civic. The bill was Helix, Wasp and Krokus. good times, I caught a poster from wasp. That was my very first concert.
Man card that is soooo koooool Helix is my favorite heavy metal band & would have loved to seen that. I'm in Greenville, S.C. & we don't get the band attention like the big city areas get.........& it SUX !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do some of your true ROCKERS From the 90s and turn of the century Remember this Group. Man, Before I became a Buddhist and was partying Man I saw these guys with wife number 5 and In a Bar BAR IN Tempe AZ. These guys were so loud I affirm I am having Goosebumps still. KISS played at this same Bar when they did the reunion tour in 1999 when they were getting ready to go on tour. Man I got so twisted and wasted. NO Those were the twisted days But I am a Rocker to the day I die
Krokus is one of the most overlooked or ignored band. Shame on bloody music industry! I couldn't believe it how good they were, a proud swissern hard rock band. AC /DC / SCORPIONS / KISS level.
have always been very underated every album kicks ass marks voice is as always you can see when bon died him and allan fryer from heaven where on the short list for acdc, axl who stick with the gunners nobody sings bon like mark
So AC/DC offered him the job in 1980 and he turned it down..hope it works out this time..all the old AC/DC with this guy..bet they would keep going for a few more years..wouldn't miss that for anything..

This gig totally kicked alot of ass.And they totally blew my mind. And of course I 💘 Mark Storace's vocals. It totally rocks my world. And if it wasn't for Brian Johnson to be in AC/DC.Mark Storace will be my 1st choice and only choice.Cause there's no one else would be a better fit then Mark Storace. Other then that he's 😂 rocking with Krokus.🎸❤

Rock'n roll never dies! Great fan of Krokus. Greetings from Norway.
+Myrvold89 im a big fan of krokus and from norway too :-)
I am from Sweden 😁
This guy is a shoe in for the DC job he'd be awesome at all the Bon era stuff.
why i feel i can hear Ac/Dc singing voice in my head,, it fit so perfect,, 10000 times better than Axl can offer
Yeah ,.. RIGHT !!!!! Knock it off !!! They're Both Good !!!!! ,. { PERIOD !!!!! }
yeah hes better, but he has his own band and he refused to tour with AC\DC, once in 80's after Bon's death and second time when Brian left. So AC\DC now got the best what they can get.
i had heard that ac/dc approached him for the spot b4 ac/dc vocalist brian johnson after Bon Scotts passing
Bubi, to sing at AC/DC you have to be a Rock'n'Roller
They still sound great, but Storace's voice hasn't aged at all! Lucky man.
And AC/DC would choose Assl Rose over this guy? Unbelievable!
+Aaron Mayer That's just what I was thinking!

Krokus was one of the few bands that sounded authentic live.Nazareth and Head East also had this ability.
YES.......good analogy Too Wild !!!!!!!!!!!

Saw these guys in Dublin back '08 opening for Hammerfall.. Pure magnificence. We met Marc Storace after the gig too, great guy. Hope they come back to Ireland again
Saw them in concert in 1988. One of the best live shows I've ever seen/heard. Highly underrated band.
Krokus opened for every band I saw in the 80's...still put on Headhunter and The Blitz and smile.
The guitar work for screaming in the night-29 minute mark is sublime. When he sings "What is wrong and what is right". i get chills. If you've ever played live, you know this feeling well. Thanks for posting this.

bad ass concert man!
Marc was being considered for the acdc gig, don't know why it ain't happening.
check out a band called Rhino Bucket.
(Chuck R.true 2 God)
I am so glad that Marc Storace decided to turn down the offer to join ACDC after
Bon Scott died, He fits like a glove with Krokus.
Greg Monteiro And now AC/DC is no more, so Marc took the right decision to stick to his guns.
Wrong. Look at the money he lost with that decision and AC/DC fans got screwed. Imagine him singing the Back In Black album? It still went to #1 with BJ even. He said that if they asked him again when Brian Johnson couldn't go anymore that he would have done it. They didn't ask twice and the world got left with Axl.

Holy shit. Muss die alten Herren unbedingt wieder mal sehen... ;-)
thats for sure do they still rock wild
I love Krokus but if I see 'em they GOTTA play something off of their "Hardware" album, that had some rockin' shit!!
Hardware is one of my all time favorites
