5/4 to 3/4 this song (The Stranglers) has been covered by so many talented artists. You can see why. It's haunting. It's melodic. It's timeless. Vielen Dank!
I disagree, I enjoy her playing a lot. Maybe it is a touch slower than the original, but it sounds so good even at this speed. 1.25x, on the other hand, sounds waaay too fast, take out all the magic and hypnotic haunt from it. Makes me think of a Benny Hill chase.

@@Radagast- 6/8 is perfect for waltzes, the problem with this is that the intro part alternates between 6/8 and 7/8 ruining the constant 1-2-3 flow required for a waltz
There are sheets out there that show 6/8 alternating with 7/8. It is possible (and has been done) to note it down with 3 3/4 interrupted with one 4/4. This can be compressed to 5/4 (which also has been done very succesfully).

@@Divaniy_Pilot_EKB спасибо!
@@Divaniy_Pilot_EKB Origianl score has laternating bars of 7/8 and 6/8. The verses and chorus are in 6/8
@@tedse21i always thought if it as more of a waltz with an added bar of 4/4 new way to think about it ig
Watchin at 1.25x speed makes it even better.
Jerome is right. That is the proper speed.
Yeah, she’s a touch slow and timid.
First you become good, then you become fast.. i thoroughly enjoyed this piece since she wasn't showin' off how fast she could play it..

@Fermati Chebellosei Perché
The harpsichord is ageless. Loved how the Alan Parsons Project made good use of it too.
thank you for this. Healing to hear such a painful song played in such a beautiful way
RIP Dave Greenfield. Another victim of this terrible pandemic.

Forever in our hearts.
The most beautiful song ever written. Thank you for this cover !
One my favourite songs made even better by the harpsichord. Thank you!
So beautiful. I loved playing this song.... if only I had a harpsichord.
It’s so haunting I love your rendition it’s amazing
Amazing! Such a great version
And now we are jumping in year...."1750" with STRANGLERS, GREENFEELD AND CORNWELL....thank you!
This is a song that should have been discovered 500 years ago and been considered a classic to this day.
Großartig, danke! :-) :-)
Wow really good, thank so much, this song is very nice. Remenber Mr Brucker
One of my all time favourites played how God intended. 😂
It's been a pleasure.
Great rendition. The changing up of the timing is unlike anyother copy.
A very complicated piece! You handled it marvelously!
Gut gemacht! Ein schönes Lied, gespielt von einer talentierten Dame.
Perfectly shows why this song will never be bettered
Wow! Really a great waltzing rythm.
It's in 6/8, not 3/4, so it's only got 2 beats to the bar... it's got a waltz feel, but it doesn't work as a waltz.

Ich finde es ausgezeichnet, wie es sich anhört!😊👍

Beautiful song beautifully played
Viel besser als die Klavierversionen.
Cembalo ist ein (gottseidank) unterbewertetes Musikinstrument...
Ich wollte ich hätte Raum, Möglichkeit und Geld für ein gutes Cembalo....😭
Beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing...

When music is beauty to the ears of all people and all the love in the comments 😁
Why do you have two sets of keys doing the same thing on a harpsichord?
How much is a harpsichord?
I paid 1750 Euro for a used one.
Played a little slow here.....

Love the player, organ not so much
Sorry ,,, wrong instrument sound for GB ,,, Too 'tinny' ,, as python would say.
Die wohl langweiligste Version ever. Gähn!
Boring, thank god I didn't have a razor blade handy.
Nice❤
i love this cover! love it. only, two things, the highs are to much, but the base is amazing!..wow!..but, its the cembalo
Merci mlle pour cet exellent partage, c'est vrai que le rythme est un peu lent, quand on accélère à 1,25, ça donne bien aussi ;-)
Beautiful!
