رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Dua for forgiveness for parents and guests:
رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ
يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِى عَلَى دِينِكَ
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
"Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous."
Surah Al-Furqan, Ayah 74
Nicely explained with deep meaning.
Even before watching this video I’m overwhelmed these days by how temporary are our lives. How different stages of our lives become a memory, how our health undergo through changes towards declination. And we can’t control it but only to make our efforts to stay healthy. How the kids become grown up and our elders become older and older with time. A sad reality.
This is what I do if I can't say anything nice stay silent

I once told this to an ignorant. That ignorant said being silent is a sign of showing weakness and that you’ve accepted defeat. So I let it be, because I understood some people can’t be reasoned with. Only Allah can guide them.

Allahu Akbar. You just spoke directly to me. I try hard to be patient and respectful with people but I lost my patience some days ago and used very strong and harsh Tone. After that, I decided to stay away and remain silent. Just to let things fall back in place after we all think over the issues.
