I felt proud you went in to sit at Crabby Bills or Petes or whatever it was lol I would keep looking up other places because you deserve to sit & dine at a relaxing spot & enjoy a lunch. Once you do it a few times it may feel strange but I think you will enjoy it you need that break & you live in a beautiful place with lots of water dining. So don't give up.

For years I stop going out on the actual date for Mother's Day. This year my children knew just give me a call only. I chose to go to a Giants baseball game alone. I got lucky to find a single seat - no anchored seat on my left, right, or in front of me. Watching while listening to the game was like meditation. 😊😊😊

I feel so blessed, my adult son who lives here & deals with Autism as his daily challenge walked to a bakery & got me a single Mother’s Day cupcake! It was huge & we shared it. ❤ My daughters texted & sent Amazon gift card

I ended up dashing because I was upset that neither one of my kids has even reached out to wish me a Happy Mothers day. My daughter finally did as I was pulling out of the driveway. My son and I aren't that close but his girlfriend did finally reach out because he wouldn't.

I really struggle when I get an idea in my head of what will happen and it's not what I expected. Sorry that happened, I say order pickup from a restaurant and find a nice spot on the beach to spend an afternoon!
I love my son and he’s much kinder these days (28yrs) but overall , being a mother is a thankless job.

Wow I'm a dasher in Georgia and I don't know how you can dash in a tourist destination I would lose my mind and flip out. All the traffic, people and problems parking. M6 hats off to you
I truly believe that these gig apps do things like this on purpose. They don't send you any work all day or if they do it is all low paying for the day so that way you become desperate so you will take the low paying offers. It's never going to work for us experienced drivers we know your game it won't work.

I wish I could do respite care for you, but I'm in California. My son is on the spectrum, and I used watch my friend's son, who has asperger's and oppositional defiance. Her family was all back east, so it was her only break. Hopefully, you can find someone close to you, willing to build trust with your son, and give you a break sometimes. You must be exhausted from all the stress. My thoughts and prayers are with you! ❤🙏🙏🙏

I got a DoorDash violation yesterday.A customer lied and said I did not deliver their food.
I do not know what restaurant I would have.Picked the food up from or the customer.Because DoorDash didn't even bother to tell me what food I didn't deliver.I realize they won't tell me the customer where they live.But at least they could tell me what food I didn't deliver like.Which restaurant did I even pick it up. That's Horse shits i would not keep somebody's food

If you have a photo, you will be fine. If not, they should tell you the order. Happened to me and was removed the next day.
Thar is super crappy! The app knows where you went as it tracks our phone. I see 3 possibilities (other than you taking their food). 1) The customer wanted free food, so claimed they never received it 2) A porch pirate, stole it (it happens) 3) You accidentally delivered it to the wrong place (it happens to the best of us).

What a nice gesture from Cloudymoon 916! I understand not doing much for Mother's Day as it happens to me as well. You could have still ordered a meal and enjoy yourself at the beach anyways. ⛱️ the beach is soothing and an opportunity to refresh. Try getting a folding beach chair, suntan lotion and a beach hat leave it in your trunk for those moments you need to unwind! Oh, the sun glasses looks good on you! Blessings

❤ l truly understand how times can get to us, it's like your beyond a reaction your now coasting through it all.... You have to take a little break treat yourself to even a frozen yogurt or something and at least 30 minutes of let go time🙏💪 then keep on moving ❤
I like going to places by myself especially to eat. It's weirdly liberating. You can eat what you want, for however long you want, and you can people watch. It's just finding the right place that you feel comfortable with. I didn't like the bar style outside there. I wouldn't want to sit between a couple of random people at the bar like that.

I HATE that enter pin shit. I only had ONE person, only ONE TIME who went ahead and text the pin as they saw I was in route and pulling onto their street instead of standing there lingering while I see if Door Dash decide if it's gone accept / clear it to go thru. HATE that.
I must be the only one I have literally never had to get a pin. I think I had to have a prescription delivery signed for on my phone which he convinced me since I was delivering meds because he had Covid and I didn’t wanna just sign my name or forge his even with permission, so I think I just wrote in tiny letters as best I could with my finger that customer has Covid and does not want to come out of the doorway. Nobody ever gave me a problem about it. Poor guy I was like let me just figure this out because I had hit can’t hand to customer. But we were talking through the door, crack, and I mean he told me before I came up the last few stairs, so I was a good distance but I was like if this runs out they’re gonna make me return it so that’s what I figured. I’ll just do that. And he was like my wife left at five under the mat. They never know who’s gonna be delivering it, so they can obviously tip on there, but the base pay is higher and it wasn’t far like I was fine with it for 750 or whatever it was for like a mile and a half / 2 miles tops. But I wasn’t going to turn down the extra five. And he was taking it pretty seriously since he made sure to mention his wife is the one that left it he didn’t touch it.
Sometimes you just gotta improvising do the best you can. Of course, right after we did that she got home and started unloading groceries. And this was literally from the grocery store pharmacy up the road. But I wasn’t complaining.
Just wanted some thing that you don’t deal with all the time sometimes you have to think outside the box. But I dare them to tell me I have to let somebody with Covid sign my phone, even if he had wanted to. I felt bad, giving him a hard time at first gently just tell him what they wanted us to do. So I made sure to thank him for not wanting to pass it on. This was like probably a year ago or just about.
I know I’m late seeing this video, but don’t be down and out on this day, if your a mother everyday is mother day, rest yourself every single day not just for one day.. god bless you!!

I’m sorry about the seating at the restaurant. Even though it’s after Mother’s Day, you can always find another place to eat and have a drink watching the beach which is peaceful. The sun glasses looked great on you.
I have to say my daughter and grand kids came over to my house on Mother’s Day and we had a barbecue and spent time together and my daughter got me a Stanley ! Although over the years I have had those moments with my daughter that were not always positive!

I was having app issues too on Mother's day weekend. I figured it was because of the solar storms...

Doordash sucks now. What a joke Doordash has become. The orders are little pay. The miles are far away. The restaurant staff are rude. People lie about not getting their food to get something for free. I am looking for something else. To pay 4 in a half dollars per gallon of gas and not make much money I am wasting my time.
