    It’s a lot of work keeping the plants looking stellar in the nursery. Thank you for all you insights

    Thanks Rosie for the tour. What a great place to work and own 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 we need more nurseries like this instead of the same old same old garden centres!

    Thank you for the tour. Please repeat often for viewers that plants grow at different paces and that's expected. People seem to think my garden should be in full bloom all the time.
    Glad to hear plants are growing as I will be leaving for a garden tour in Southern England in 10 days!

    Great tour. Brilliant way to lay out the benches. I don’t see that here near me in the US. Lovely.

    Love the sorting by colour, wish more nurseries would do this!

    Hello Rosie, thank you so much for the tour. It is quite fascinating from posts color to being ready for a big show. The examples of bed planting are stunning. So much work…
    Also after listening to you I bought a stipa gigantea which for the moment is a stipa minusculea but I am patient.

    Love how you show out the plants eg shade wet areas. Never see that here in the Midwest of USA. Love the tour

    Great video Rosy! I visited the nursery a couple of weeks ago (I live in Cornwall and was travelling back from the south east U.K.) was so good to see the nursery in person! I’ll be back next time I’m heading that way👍

    Your nursery is so well planned. I notice the height of your Eryngiums and wonder why mine grow so tall each year that I have to stake them. Any ideas?
    I started Eryngium planum from seed in milk jugs that were sown in January 2022. There were so many able to be planted out, that I ended up weeding out about 40 plants. Left a few in different parts of the garden to better assess where they would do best. Well, this year June 2024, they are all about 4 feet tall and budded in every area. I started staking today. I even have a few Eryngium yuccafolium as well. These grow much slower than the planum, and I pulled all but 2 as a test to learn how it grows.
    Your videos are all wonderful, as are the “ shorts”👍

    Hi Rosie, thank you so much for your videos. I'm curious how you keep the roots from growing into your landscape fabric in the outdoor growing area?

    • @rosyhardy18
      @rosyhardy18 Před měsícem +1

      The roots do occasionally grown through or across the top of the fabric. However the majority of the crops are sold before they get to be that old.

    Your plants are so beautiful! My eryngium planum which I started from seed last year has grown so tall and stretched out even though it faces South and gets lots of sun. Yours look so great and I'm suspecting that this must be a different variety. Or possibly mine is still needing even more sun?

      Yes ours are a different species and variety.
