Phew, thanks! I was struggling to remove the front circular thingy from the back edge. Once I watched your instruction to go at it from the front, it came off like a charm. Now I can clean it. Cheers!
Thank you! Bought mine for $7 at a thrift shop 6(?) years ago and it definitely smells of burning dust every time I i turn it on. Spent a ridiculous amount of time cleaning it with q-tips cause I couldn't get that plastic rim off! Knowing where the three (very strong) hidden latches were and using a butter knife to pop them out worked perfectly and now my lil fan that could is working brilliantly! 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for this. I was having trouble figuring out that grey ring. It's clipped on there really well and the clips are really resilient. After seeing that its cosmetic only I ripped it off not caring if it broke and it stayed intact. I had a bunch of cat hair built up on the coils and was able to reach around with my fingers and get it all off. The fan was blowing at 10% of it's capacity and now it's like new!
Thank you. My brand says Pelonis, and has an electronic button control, but the housing is the same. I was reluctant to force the ring off of the front because I was worried about breaking it. I also might have missed that 5th screw (or taken a lot longer to find it) without this tutorial. I appreciate you taking the time to post this.
Thanks man I was having a problem getting that thing off of there man mine still didn't come off as easy as yours might have I think I have I think I broke a clip on one side of it but I got it off thank you
How to remove the fan blade... Please use care! I'm sorry the video is so rushed, I'll make a better one later. czcams.com/video/joOKIA3pyII/video.html
Cool. I've already gotten this far and thank you, but does anyone know how to remove the fan blade itself? My heating element has a lot of dust on the back as well that a vacuum just isn't going to reach without taking the blade out... 😳
I have a fan heater .The painter who was here due to person above keep trying to flood flat . The painter was spraying forget the name of thing but leaves white chalk everywhere. He covers the kitchen and bathroom yet starts spraying in coreddor without saying . No sense . Did he not think to say close my door .anyway that shits on my figurines a bit and inside heater . So gonna take apart and clean

This was extremely helpful! The grey outer part is very tough to remove. I had to pull it out with max strength, it didnt break though.

But you don't even show anything. U already had it done. Useless
oh c'mon all you gotta do is unscrew it! the video would be 10x as long if I showed myself unscrewing each screw and popping off the ring!
Was needing to see how it popped off. Found a better video though
Obviously you just wanted him to do it for you it was VERY informal
@@stacyadams4386 don't be stupid.
maybe show the entire opening process? and not just start 2 steps in.
