Fun fact: Cazzi Opeia co-wrote both the Eurovision Song Contest winner 2023 and the American Song Contest Winner 2022.
She also co-wrote Jacqline' "Effortless", so she will have two of her songs in this semi (and hopefully in the final).

Someone on twitter said Jacqline's song sounds like a Dua Lipa single and yeah that's very accurate 😅 but she and Cazzi have probably the best songs overall so far (not that high of a bar tbh)

The qualifiers to the final will probably be up just after the last semi (March 2nd), those who doesn't qualify, or go to the qualification final, will be out this Saturday, after this semi.

My review of these 6 songs/sneakpeaks of.the third heat of Melodifestivalen 2024 as a swede.
Jacqline - "Effortless" this is like Dua Lipa and Beyonce combined and i absolutely love it!.
Clara Klingenström - "Aldrig Mer" her song from Melodifestivalen 2021 "Behöver Inte Dig Idag" is one of my favorite Melodifestivalen songs of all time, she sings like an amazing angel and the song is really beautiful and the lyrics of that song are so deep and meaningful, this year is no different her song is great and i'm so happy i discovered her.
Kim Cesarion - "Take My Breath Away" this is an exempel of a one hit wonder singer trying to get back to the charts but sadly can't do that cause almost no one remembers them anymore.
Klaudy - "För Dig" this sounds nice reminds of Victor Leksell but otherwise nothing special.
Gunilla Persson - "I Won't Shake (La La Gunilla)" there are no words of how to describe this song, it's really bad.
Cazzi Opeia - "Give My Heart a Break" i find her two songs from Melodifestivalen 2022 and this year equally catchy but something is missing.

i have always thought it would be nice to see sweden send a song in swedish, but actually... no. as a finn, it is mandatory for us to study swedish in school, and i started studying it when i was 10yo - always had an awful teacher, even one violent, generally all condescending for all the 9 years i studied the language. so i grew a hate relationship with swedish language, and i cant shake it away. 😂
I think it would be nice if Finland sent a song in Swedish again, their "Moomin-Swedish" is such a adorable dialect of Swedish.

Melodifestivalen keeps getting more boring and less innovative every year. So far, none of the songs I have listened so far would be in my top half of the selected entries for Eurovision we have atm
