Yup I agree, it was more an experiment for myself. I also wouldn't recommend fully soaking a shag carpet unless you also rent some dehumidifiers to pull the residual water, otherwise it will smell. Luckily I also had an o zone machine to get rid of the smell as I couldn't dry it quick enough.
