Pereira is a bad stylistic matchup for Jiri. He drops his hands constantly, over exposes his chin, and is very heavy on the lead leg. Meanwhile, Pereira has ferocious power, some of the best leg kicks in the game, and is really good at setting up his pattened left hook of death. Jiri fights recklessly and gets hit A LOT. He could very well get tagged by Pereira and slept. Even if he doesnt, Alex will severely compromise his mobility with leg kicks. Not to mention the fact that Pereira has Glover Texeira in his corner, which is a massive game changer on its own.
I pick Alex either by decision or 4th / 5th round finish.

You do realise Overeem got Sergei down and TKO'd him right? Sergei is really weak on the ground. Tom can take people down easily and he is really good at ground strikes and submissions. Tom also is a smart fighter, because he is humble, so he will do the right decision and take it to the ground and finish Sergei. Just wait and see.
As far as Jiri and Alex. I am not confident in this fight. But I will lean Jiri. Simply because Alex isn't as powerful against actual LHW's. Jiri hits very hard, has a very durable chin, and long arms. And with Alex being KO'd cold by Israel, and then being battered a bit by Jan, as well as being towards the end of his career in age (taken a lot of damage over his 50+ kickboxing and MMA fights). I think the younger Jiri will probably win, by catching Alex with a shot.
I am most confident however in Tom winning overall out of any pick however.
Yes Aspinall is the more well rounded fighter technically speaking, but Sergei has had more time to prepare for a potential title fight physically and mentally. So from a mental perspective I think that swings the fight in his Favour. If Tom can get him down before getting Koed, sure! I feel like Tom isn't is quite at his best yet, just entering his prime where as I think Sergi is at his best right now. Maybe Tom can beat Sergi, even not at his best. I'm saying Tom is going to get way better than he is, even better than what he is now. So yeah that would be impressive. Let's SEE!!!

I feel like Jiri will largely change his style, be defensively sound, and grapple a lot (based on his interview). But, if he fights as he always does, Pereira will catch him and get a KO. Good breakdown
Thanks Grandmaster thats what I'm thinking. Plus this is Jiri's first fight back after that terrible shoulder injury.. I mean look at Ortega and Dillashaw now.. not thats its the same thing but damn its not the best place to have problems.

Hrm.. just be yourself. . If you are funny, make her laugh, if you are smart, talking about something intellectual. If you aren't really a talker, use your body language or other skills to impress or find a common interest. If you compliment a girl, do so without any intentions. Girls have to feel they are safe and comfortable around you before any further interest can develop. It helps to meet girls who you share a mutual interest/activity with, otherwise if might feel forced making a connection. In other words, let them get to know you before any courtship begins, don’t let them know you are interested yet. It takes a long time for women to get interested at all, and they will be put off if you hit on them right away and rush things sexually. Befriend them first and treat them like a human. The rest comes later. haha I don't know man, women are tricky and all want different things. If they are weirded out by something you may have said, maybe they r not your type. Keep going and have fun with it!

A pec tear is more than a serious injury, its outright catastrophic! That will take surgery to fix. Afterwards, since the body does not want to experience that trauma again, it will down regulate strength portential, and that pectoral muscle will be permanently weakened. It wont move like it used to, it wont generate force like it used to. How will this effect Jon Jones performance? I dont know, well have to wait and see.
Yes I thought it would be bad.. I study a bit of anatomy and know the pec is key to many upper body movements. I wonder if it was a full pec tear or partial. I wonder if we'll see Jones back at all.

my slightly contraversial prediction is that Jiri actually makes it look quite "easy". Jan was easily handling Alex in the striking before altitude gassed him and Jiri is much longer, less predictable, better at distance management. and he still has the threat of mixing his martial arts as Jan did. I think Alex at LHW does not as easily have his way in striking... all he landed on Jan were some jabs and the calf kicks
the kicks were debilitating tho, and jan is a better checker than jiri. Jiri needs to finish him as fast as possible

True, apart from Miyamoto Musashi teachings, there is much I don't know about him! Hey I'll be blown away if what he says is true; that he is healthier than before. I think the timing/circumstances Favour Pereira in this match up, but I will happily be proven wrong! I love both guys, so I'm happy with the result already.
