I changed my views about a week ago because of a slight disagreement with my husband about it. I was seeking to prove him wrong, and asked God to humble my heart so that I could prove my beliefs, (Despite not completely understanding the Trinity) Instead of getting the answer I wanted, I got the Truth after actually reading. There is only ONE God. There were several verses that were pointing me in the right direction, but then John 20:17 was the one that did it for me. Jesus wanted to humble himself and limit himself into a human, so the people can identify with him. With that being said, when he was crucified he felt every bit of pain. He was willing to show us that death is not the end, and we should never stop having faith, hope, and most of all we should never stop loving.

John 14:28 KJV -«Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I». To understand this verse, let's go to Philippians 2:6-8 KJV -«who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross». This verse tells us that Jesus humbled Himself to die on the cross, so He's not equal to God; but still, He is God. John 14:28 tells us that God is greater than Jesus, because Jesus humbled Himself to not be God; John 4:12 KJV -«Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?». This verse doesn't tell us that no one has seen God, instead, this one is what you're trying to find: John 1:18 KJV -«No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him»; John 5:30 -«I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me». To understand this verse, we have to go back to John 5:19 -«Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise». John 5:30 has something to do with this verse («The Son can do nothing by himself, but what he seeth the Father do»). John 5:30 says that Jesus can do nothing without the Father. I hope this helped.

I was seeking to prove him wrong, and asked God to humble my heart so that I could prove my beliefs, (Despite not completely understanding the Trinity) Instead of getting the answer I wanted, I got the Truth after actually reading. There is only ONE God. There were several verses that were pointing me in the right direction, but then John 20:17 was the one that did it for me.

This verse tells us that Jesus humbled Himself to die on the cross, so He's not equal to God; but still, He is God. John 14:28 tells us that God is greater than Jesus, because Jesus humbled Himself to not be God; John 4:12 KJV -«Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?». This verse doesn't tell us that no one has seen God, instead, this one is what you're trying to find: John 1:18 KJV -«No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him»; John 5:30 -«I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me». To understand this verse, we have to go back to John 5:19 -«Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise». John 5:30 has something to do with this verse («The Son can do nothing by himself, but what he seeth the Father do»). John 5:30 says that Jesus can do nothing without the Father. I hope this helped.

The amazing thing about the Christians' sworn
affidavits (writings attributed to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) is that not a single one of them is duly attested. Not a single one bears the signature, mark or thumb-print of its author in the so-called originals. They now boast of being in possession of over 5000 "originals" of which no two "originals" are identical. Amazing! When Christian scholars are asked why the words "according to" are repeated at the beginning of every Gospel, the obvious implication is that they are not autographed. Of the alleged Gospel writers, viz., Matthew, Mark, Luke and John it can be categorically stated that 50% were not even the elected Twelve Disciples of Jesus (pbuh).

ORIGINS OF CRUCIFIXION
Crucifixion was the common mode of eliminating political prisoners, murderers and insurgents. Long before the birth of Jesus, the Phoenecians had experimented with various methods to get rid of their anti-social characters. They had tried hanging, impaling, stoning, drowning, etc. But all these were too quick in their effects; the culprits expired too soon for their liking. So they invented the crucifixion, a system which produced a slow L-I-N-G-E-R-I-N-G death.
