Another great video. I built a vocal booth in my home and also in my RV! I always want to be ready even when travelling. I really enjoy these tutorials and appreciate them.
Thank you so much for making these videos! I record in my living room, and I do notice some reverb and acoustic noise from that. I use a de-verb and speech enhancement plug in, which help a lot, but do you know if a microphone isolation shield would make a difference, or are there any other tricks for people who don't have a studio yet? I have also tried recording with a blanket over my head, but haven't seen a big difference from that.
Glad you like them! I have heard some of the absolute best results from people building a small 'fort' with blankets and sofa cushions. Of course, it's not the prettiest to look at, but it works really well. The trouble with blankets is that they aren't thick enough to remove mid and low frequencies from bounding around freely. To eliminate those, the sofa cushions should work quite well! Hope this helps -Randy

That's so cool! That must be a challenge utilizing the space in the RV effectively -Randy
These ear training videos are fantastic! Would it be possible to put up more videos with just the tests covering the topics from both videos? Thanks!
Oh solid idea! Maybe something we can work next. Thanks for the feedback -Randy
This was great, thank you!
